I would not recommend living at The Woods at Ambler. My experience has been extremely disappointing. The office staff and maintenance team seem to have very little concern for their tenants or their concerns. Maintenance requests either go ignored or take an unreasonable amount of time, and when someone finally does respond, issues often aren’t actually fixed.
What made the experience even worse is that instead of taking responsibility for ongoing maintenance problems, management tries to blame tenants for damages that should be addressed by the property. It feels like they’re more interested in avoiding repairs than providing a safe and well-maintained place to live.
If you’re looking for an apartment where management communicates, takes maintenance seriously, and treats residents fairly, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
This is NOT a safe environment.
The complex is really turning around with new management. The pool and gym look great. They started doing general renovations ASAP and offered to fix everything the previous management company failed to fix. Front office is extremely kind and easy to connect with. Unfortunately, we were on our way out when they were on their way in, but I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to come into the area. I would recommend in unit laundry.
FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS!
Horrible living conditions. Multiple residents with no AC during the extreme heat wave with temps over 100 degrees this whole weekend. Management stated they have no plans of fixing anyones AC until at least next week. That’s 4 days of no AC! They supplied a portable that is horrible and cheap and does not cool anything down unless you stand right in front of it. Horrible, horrible, horrible. With personal health conditions, being expected to live for 4 days with no AC in a unit we spend thousands for, it’s not safe living, not habitable, and horrible management.

DONT BELIEVE THE FAKE 5 STARS
Air conditioning broke in the middle of an extreme heat wave. Was given a portable A/C that can only handle about 200sqft and it’s doing absolutely nothing. Management says we have to wait 4 days to get it fixed despite seeing temperatures above 100 degrees everyday. Not safe living and definitely not worth the money being spent here

The day of my move no one told me that there was a leak above me. I walked into people painting my apartment. They knew that I was pregnant and I have a two year-old and we shouldn’t be having to breathe in paint fumes. No apologies. No offers to prorate my rent. My air conditioner was broken as well and it’s been over a week and no one has come to fix it. They keep telling me there’s going be someone coming to fix it, but no one ends up coming. The apartment itself was dirty. There was also no smoke alarm. And my kitchen sink was clogged. What a nightmare this place has been so far. Also, The deal was when you moved in right now, You get a $2000 credit towards rent. When I moved in in the account, it said $2000, But then they took money out of it and in my account, it only says $688. It’s a scam. Don’t fall for it because they’ll take the money out of your account.
