  This apartment has many amenities and is in a great part of Tigard. However management sucks. I have now had at least two incidents of them emailing me and then going back on their word later. They have such a high turn over rate in the office, they don't keep track of what they tell residents. We got approval to keep seating on our patio, then was told months later it is now a violation and the person who told us it was approved didn't have that authority. You would like to think that when you get an approval email from the office, that you trust that. So here is warning to everyone to keep your receipts, of every interaction and be prepared for the office to not be reliable. Maintenance team has still been ok.

  Its an ok place. no place is going to be perfect for everyone. as long as you know how to clean up water leaks from the windows, and condensation in the winter, they wont get terribly moldy. theres ants in the units and theyll come in through the windows and crawl across my desk (by a window) while im working. I dont mind much though. This place has a horribly high turnover in office staff. Because of this there is a lot of misscommunication. any advice or any 'yeah sure its ok to do that' should gathered in writing, or in email so you can have reciepts for when they contact you about the exact same issue 2 months later. the floorboards around the doorways are raised off the floor (big enough gap for a vaccume cord to get caught under) and all the spiders hide under there. Ive texted my other resident neighbors and friends and they all have this massive gap between the floorboards, so its just how the place is built. i reccomend sprinkling the floor with diatomecious earth and laying catchmasters in dark areas as silverfish are an occasional problem, not an infestation but a concern if you like your clothes and books to not have holes in them. people smoke in the parking lot. I dont care even though I have asthma and am high risk. I dont smoke, but some residents care way too much about it. like... 30% of the population or more smokes. you gotta get over it eventually. This place is built like cardboard. things fall apart, heaters stop working, ive heard from 2 new neighbors that they had a lot of things wrong with their units when they moved in. Check: lights, dishwashers, heaters; and smell the washers. ours wasn't bad but our neighbors want out of their lease. Matinence however is quick to respond. The handle fell off the mail room and someome got trapped inside. she had to be let out by another resedent living by the mail room. Hot tub was out of commision for 8 straight months (over winterrr 😭) and it still doesnt look right. OH, and you cant keep a stupid bike on YOUR balcony. my nice $1,600 electric bike got stolen after the office told me I couldnt keep it on the patio or lock it under the stairs. only option was a parking spot since they dont have a bike rack, or a $200 a month garage. I can't afford that. we pay 2400 total (including utilities) for a 2 bedroom. **Offer bike storage options, or expect your residents to continue to lock them under stairs and keep them on the balconies.** where the heck else do we keep them. Inside??? these small overpriced apartments? no. bike rack cage would be a wonderful investment for this community, and would prevent the CONSTANT issues you have with bikes on balconies or under stairs. you can tell us to put em away as many times as you like, but if you dont provide another option, (THAT ISNT 200 DOLLARS A MONTH) its gonna keep happening. go figure. the pool is nice. the people are nice. all you gotta do is bake cookies for the neighbors and they'll be chill. Matinence is super quick to respond. heater was replaced same day of submitting request. the office ladies at least try to be nice, i know they cant remember every conversation theyve ever had but its annoying being told to do something again every 2 months after being told it was ok. and then being told its NOT ok.

  You pay for parking yet they allow anyone to park however and where ever they like. When addressed they do nothing to deal with the issue

  The problem is the neighbors, all the do is complain. the walls and floors are extremely thin. So if you have kids or a dog beware. You can hear your neighbors conversation and with everyone knowing that they still complain. If you have a laid back personality you wouldn't wanna move here. It will turn you into a uptight person who is literally on edge in your own apartment.
