  I interviewed many real estate agents before choosing to work with the Dan Volkmer team specifically because the DV team understood how special old/historic homes are. They had strategies to highlight the unique qualities of old homes and make them attractive to buyers, rather than simply trying to update them to be more modern. (Other real estate agents told me that I should whitewash the inside, including the beautiful wood interior - I was horrified!) The process of working with the DV Team was five stars from start to finish. Selling a home is overwhelming and they helped me through every step of it. They were understanding, conscientious, and detail-oriented. I had such a good experience selling my home with them that I also used their team to make my next home purchases. I recommend them without reservation!

  A great experience working with Dan, Fritz, and the Volkmer team. From our initial meeting to the final close, they were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Due in large part to their skills, our NW Portland townhouse had multiple offers, several over asking price, and a quick easy close. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a residential property.
