  So far so good. Haven’t had any bed bugs yet but the apt complex has been very informative via email anytime some are found in the building. We were aware of the construction before moving in and knew what we were getting into so no surprises there. We enjoy the emails set out by Celio keeping us up to date on what’s going on in the building. So far communication has been great. I see a lot of complaints on here that I guess we haven’t experienced. Excited to keep living here.

  This place has been recently renovated to gussy up the halls and common areas, but this is the same exact King Tower that is so riddled with problems. Old building, has no room to room heat control and is set by building section, often too high but seldom at a comfortable temperature. Has no ventilation besides small exhaust vents in the kitchen and the bathroom. Does have roaches, as others have said. Walls between apartments can be heard through easily (conversations could be heard word for word through my bathroom). Smokers aren't supposed to sit on the side ramps and front steps and smoke, but they always do. And because the windows must be open to combat the dead air and heat, it ends up smelling like cigarettes inside. The front office staff is very friendly but only somewhat helpful. The maintenance guys are both friendly and good at their jobs. I know it's affordable and enticing considering the locale, but do yourself a favor and look closely at what you're actually getting: an old, cheaply built, basically unchanged (except for cosmetics) hotel building from the '40s that was never designed with permanent residences in mind. It was a big mistake for me. Think twice about this one.
