Future residents please read. 0/5 stars. My experience at the Mill On Maple was terrible from move in day to moving out day. I stressed to DeAndre I was moving across the country for him to call me two nights before I move in to tell me I’m missing paperwork, when I checked my emails I had sent all the appropriate emails weeks before hand when they were due. He quickly made an excuse for looking past them. I was ignored during my move in process from Lauryn and was never given a tour/ where to go/ where to park. My time at the Mill On Maple. Just me and my dog ( who yes barked occasionally) even though Lauryns dog ( a beagle) would bark/ lunge at my dog I was always in the wrong. I got several emails of my dog barking, but every-time I would check the cameras in my apartment she wasn’t. They would come back and say on it happened a few days ago. Super unfair to blame me but never given the opportunity to correct it. They would also blame me for my dog barking, even though myself and my dog weren’t in the apartment. I felt they were out to get me from the start. My apartment flooded last June, I called the front office 3-4 times before someone finally picked up the phone to answer what was happening. They put four fans and two big dehumidifiers in my apartment and told me I have to run these for two weeks straight 24/7. I was told I would be compensated back. Never saw a penny from them. I called constantly to ask where my compensation was/ when I would see it and they had an excuse after an excuse. Before moving out I was in my apartment when all of a sudden Lauryn walked into my apartment with two other people who she was showing around. Not at this time was my apartment ready to be looked at/ nor did they have the permission to come into my apartment without my knowledge. Super unprofessional. Makes me wonder how many times they’ve gone in my apartment without my consent. When I moved out I asked DeAndre if I will get my compensation from the flooring back since it’s been 4 months he said yes. I never saw any compensation ever. They lied constantly to me. I would give this place 0/5 stars. They’re very unprofessional. You live next to low income apartments where there’s been gun shots/ multiple break- ins. Cops are always near by. We had multiple emails saying it’s on us as residents to not let outsiders into the pool/ apartment area. If they found out you let someone in that didn’t get there you’d be fined. That’s not our job as a resident paying a high bill to live there. If I were anyone, look elsewhere. They also buy their 5 star reviews. They have a summer party and if you write a 5 star review they give you an a prize or food.

Highs and lows, as with everything, and you kind of get what you pay for. Highs: buildings, layout, secure, amenities. Lows: Literally living on top of other people. A high focus seems to be on the exterior of this place. The areas that they can fully control (clubhouse, gym, hot tub, lobbies, etc). 9 times out of 10, those are amazing. The leasing folks have also been nothing but kind, understanding and accommodating through my journey here. Moving from Nebraska was no picnic, but they certainly did all that they could to support me (looking at you Laurynn, you're the best ✨️). Endless kudos for that, and for troubleshooting the issues I had occasionally pop up. Speaking of, not the thickest walls you've ever seen-- when someone above or below is walking around or using their appliances, you'll know it. Some of y'all aren't ready to have a conversation about those big clompers you're walking around with, or about how the only person who seems to suffer is the poor sap below you. Same goes for hallways. Maybe wait until you're near/in the elevator, in an apartment, OUTSIDE, for gods sake, before continuing your conversation. That sounds petty (kind of is, too), but there's a problem when I can hear everyone and their mother, brother, dog and baby running and shouting in the hallways. RANT DONE now that the person above me has (hopefully) settled down. The one thing that irks me not only here but everywhere else is the price hike. It's only about $50 or so to renew for another year, but month-to-month jumps your rent by $200. My. God. In this economy?? Remember when that was just a dumb joke? It's kind of our reality now. Anyway, all in all, I'll remember my time living here fondly (when I do finally hit the road). Easily 3 stars, and 1 more just for the leasing team~ Check your lease, quiet hours are 10pm-7am 😘-- (lookin' at you, C building)

Been living here the last 3 months. It's very nice and the Leasing Staff are very helpful with anything you need. I especially enjoy the 4th floor view of the oregon sunset at the end of the day. You know, when it's not cloudy. Key fob entry, and patrolling security give you some sense of security. Workout rooms are nice, and having a pool during the summer is also a plus.
