  Bottom line: I don't think this place is a good return on value. The amenities are great. The front office staff are great. But the amount of maintenance and attention to detail is minimal, bordering on non-existent. Today, I went down to the hot tub with my wife because my back was bothering me (old man problems). I was trying to make sure that the kids there didn't feel like we were forcing them out, so we made some casual conversation. As they left, I noticed the corner of a foil wrapper nearby. To our horror, we noticed that the white object further in the distance was a used condom. We started looking around the area and saw that there were several used condoms strewn about. We left shortly after taking these photos, but this is legitimately a BIOHAZARD and something that should have been dealt with immediately. There are cameras pointing directly at this area. This didn't stop someone from dumping dish soap into it, nor did it stop the man child who threw an entire pizza in the pool over the summer (but it was ok because his daddy built the pool). For the amount of money you pay to live here, you would think they would nip incidents like this in the bud. Not only that, but I had a pretty long conversation at the front office when I was walking my dog. The front desk staff were definitely aware of the situation, based on the number of post it notes on the table for each complaint. In what world do you let a literal biohazard fester without mitigating it? Instead of warning the residents, or even trying to cover it up by cleaning the area, the management chose to do nothing. There have also been 2 prior biohazard concerns that my wife has brought to management's attention, including multiple instances of used tampons being left in the parking lot and used needles being left beside cars. My wife had to dispose of the needles HERSELF, which is absolute insanity. If it isn't obvious already, I certainly won't be renewing my lease.

  While having great location, views and comparatively new apartments with (generally) decent appliances, the parking situation (1 car per apartment) is very strange and you cannot park in the street. The spa (jakuzzi) has been broken (does not bubble) since July 2024, is often pretty dirty (even though it seems to filter and rotate the water). The management still did not fix it after multiple complaints. Also, there are no instruments at hand to filter our leaves, dead insects and other trash out of it or the pool. The washing machine in the apartment is cheap - often runs out of balance, has no rinsing liquid receptacle, so one has to catch the time when to add it directly to the drum. What? If you live on the second floor, and are not lucky because your neighbor from the ground floor often grills something right under your balcony, you're also stuck with smoke coming right into your apartment unless all your windows are tightly closed. I even once woke up from the smoke alarm in my apartment going off because of it. I do not understand why grilling is allowed on the ground floor but not above. I think it should be allowed to all or none. In general, most of the complaints about any issues in the apartment have been responded to quite quickly. Most of the outside issues, however, have been ignored for a pretty long time. Besides the above-mentioned spa, for example, I complained in the summer of 2024 about 2 wasp nests right next to the entrance to the pull. It took management to have them removed around 2 months. Other than that - somewhat overpriced but quite decent. Now that a new management company took over hopefully the above-mentioned issues will be fixed.

  Most horrible communication we ever experienced with rental office in our life, Leasing Consultant not willing to come to the phone after multiple attempt by calling this office. There were important questions about finalizing on renting one of their unit. I don't understand how can this happen when it's so important. Totally lost my trust on this place, at this point I want my deposit and fees refunded immediately!

  We love living at Sonder Fields apartments! The staff is so wonderful they make it such a great place to live at. It's not just a home It's a community.
