I normally do not post things like this, but I am extremely disappointed with the conditions my family and I have experienced since moving into our apartment. Since move-in day, we have not had working air conditioning, and the temperature inside our home has reached 87°. I have four children, and we have been miserable trying to stay comfortable in this heat.
In addition, we still have not received our mailbox key, which has made it difficult to receive important mail and documents. When we moved in, the cover in the bathroom ceiling was missing, and the cabinets were dirty and covered in a sticky substance. These are things that should have been addressed before a family moved into the unit.
I have gone to the office every single day regarding the air conditioning issue and have continuously been given the runaround, with the blame being placed on maintenance. However, after speaking with maintenance today, they expressed that they do not even have the proper equipment or resources needed to fix many of the problems going on throughout the complex.
Moving into a new home should be a positive experience, but instead it has been stressful, frustrating, and exhausting for my family. I am respectfully asking management to address these issues immediately. My children and I deserve a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment, especially after signing a lease and moving in with the expectation that basic necessities would be provided.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS! THEY WILL NOT PASS A SECTION 8 INSPECTION SO DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DEPOSIT OR YOU WONT GET IT BACK WHEN YOU FAIL. NOTHING IN MY NEICES APARTMENT WORK NOT THE OVEN NOT THE AIR CONDITIONING NOTHING. ***DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SLUMLORDS***

HONESTLY HORRIBLE ! and they olny chose the good reviews to put on their website. DONT RENT , THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU. We were told before moving into this unit at Forest Creek Apartments that the sewer and AC issues had been fixed, but we have continued having problems since moving in.
Right now we are going on nearly 3 days without functioning AC, and our apartment has reached 86-90 degrees inside even at night. Coming home from work and walking into an apartment that feels as hot as outside is unacceptable, especially in Oklahoma heat. ( it genuinely feels better outside now)
What makes this more frustrating is the lack of urgency from management. When our garbage disposal stopped working, maintenance responded within 30 minutes the same day. But when we reported that our AC was not working and that the apartment was becoming dangerously hot, we were told maintenance was “working on AC units,” yet nobody came to our unit for days.
We sleep with fans and cold air normally, and even with windows open the apartment is unbearable. It has become difficult to sleep comfortably, get ready for work/school, or even exist in the apartment without sweating.
Future renters should know that despite being told these problems were repaired before move-in, we are still dealing with ongoing AC and sewer issues along with poor communication and delayed emergency maintenance response. ( also have contacted the apartment on multiple occasions and we were only met with more excuses ) i thought they were becoming more professional but clearly not.
