  I lived in at 2 bed 2 bath at Boulevard for about two years before moving out. Overall, my experience was pretty positive. The appliances worked well, the HVAC system was pretty reliable, and having a washer/dryer was a massive plus. The onsite gym as quite a few options available which saved me from getting a gym membership. Unlike some of the other reviews I’ve seen, I’ve never had issues with management and they’ve always been professional and courteous. The maintenance staff are quick and saved my behind when my HVAC unit stopped working right before summer hit. They found the broken part the day I made the maintenance request, ordered a replacement that same day, and had the new one installed the day it arrived. Another cool thing is that all my rooms had 1-2 Ethernet jacks, which was super convenient. My time at Boulevard was great, but I don’t want to seem like it was perfect. Here are a few of my gripes while I was there. • It’s not super important, but the Ethernet ports on every wall led back to a maintenance panel in one of the closets and didn’t have any RJ-45 connectors on the end. I was able to have the local internet company come out and put some connectors on for free, but it was just a bit annoying • That same maintenance panel seems to be a big entry-point for larger bugs. I couldn’t tell you how many times I would enter the closet and see a bug trying to squeeze through the gaps of that maintenance panel. I was able to stop most of the bugs from getting in by just duct taping the panel shut (covering the gaps), but it was a bit annoying. Boulevard had a company come in every few months to spray some bug repellent near the baseboards, but I suppose the maintenance panel was a bit of an oversight • My last gripe is the main reason I moved out: Rent got too expensive too fast. After almost a year at Boulevard, my lease was coming up for renewal. Looking at the early renewal rates, they were going to charge an extra $90-100 a month. That was rough, but I went along with it. Nearing the end of year two, the cheapest early renewal rate was between an extra $150-180 a month. I did look into moving to a smaller apartment at Boulevard, but I met other folks at the apartment complex who were experiencing similar issues. Considering I couldn’t sustain this type of yearly rent increase, I moved somewhere cheaper. Boulevard at Lakeside was a nice place to live. If you are able to handle those yearly rent increases, I would recommend it.

  Gavin did a good job repairing and ultimately replacing dishwasher. When I had a concern after install, came back to take a look and explain everything.
