  Applied for a home through HCO Leasing. Was told multiple times over several days that the co-signer’s application was still being processed, even though the co-signer’s income was more than sufficient for a $1,400/month property. After repeated follow-ups with no clear timeline or updates they offered the home up after dragging me a long for 5 days. Do yourself a favor and go with people that won’t just lead you on.

  As a previous tenant, HCO was great at the time. There was a young lady named Chelse, i believe, who was super nice and helpful. Maintenance requests were completed within a day, sometimes next day. If they weren’t able to, they communicated that. I referred a couple of families to them and I have never heard anyone complain so much about the lack of communication, the staff or the lack of assistance with maintenance requests. I personally did not experience the latter, but those who I referred did and continue to experience it. The property managers are rude, don’t know what they’re doing, need to learn management skills let alone people skills and HCO needs to get a better staff going on the property mgmt front, before they run off everyone who wants to lease their properties through them. If I could give 0 stars, I would. But I give 2 because the previous manager and staff was pretty great.
