  The biggest reason is the property manager does not take noise complaints seriously. My neighbor plays a tv/pc so loud I hear exactly what is being said. Some real cop show has sirens, people screaming and yelling. It's so loud at all hours of the night and wakes me up several times, Her bedroom is on the wall that connects with my bedroom and she is right on my wall. I've made legitimate complaints since I've moved in the end of Jan 2026 and have been incredibly patient. Not only does she lie about where the neighbor's media is being viewed (across the room-lie), she supposedly lied about all of this when she said she would talk to her Sr Mrg. She's not presenting the problem in a truthful manner. The washers continuously break down and are so small. The dryers are so hot they've ruined some clothing. The air conditioner is at the furthest end of the apartment and really doesn't reach the bedrooms. Maintenance guys are nice however they're controlled by the property manager in what they fix and how long it takes them. They came out 3-4 times after I told them as soon as I moved in that the temperature in the shower was fluctuating and I had to jump out of the way when the water came out scalding hot. I finally had to insist they call a real plumber. They replaced the pipes and everything was fine after that. Why did I have complain about being scalded 4 times before they believed me? Because they didn't want to spend the money to replace pipes in an older bldg. The plumber told me this problem is common in older blogs. Instead they made me wait and had maintenance come out and "try" to fix the issue. I could deal with some of these things if only I was taken seriously about the noise at night. It's in the lease about noise after hours and it's also a city ordinance. Her reply is that it's "normal". In face the neighbor has been a long time resident and I believe it's playing favorites. I've never written a bad review about any place I resided at but this place is a nightmare and a half. To add insult to injury, the rent is sky high. Not worth it once you add water fee and laundry fees. They also mistakenly cut off people's lock on their storage locker (which you have to pay an additional fee for) and threw out people's belongings with no notice whatsoever. This is what you would be dealing with if you moved here. It's a shame.

  Update: been with Linden House for over a year and plan on staying at least 2 years or greater. Shelley and Susan truly care about their residents and are all ears if you need even something minor. These ladies offer the best hospitality. Bill, maintenance, is very helpful as well with responding to service calls and make sure every tenant is taken well care of. The updated units are truly miraculous and almost perfect compared to any rental. Pool during the summer is the icing on the cake. Zarema continuously makes improvements and can see where most of my money is going. Truly the best experience and everyone here is so respectful. I work night shift and never have any trouble sleeping during the day since it's always so quiet. Great job everyone!

  Susan who shared with me the details of the Linden House wa most informative and pleasant. I was personally disappointment in the lack of central air, the laundry facilities, and the parking.
