I recently toured and had a great experience at Waterstone Landing Apartments. The community is beautiful, well-kept, and has a really peaceful atmosphere. The apartments themselves were modern, clean, and felt very welcoming. The amenities and overall property made it stand out from other places I looked at in the area. A huge reason my experience was so positive was because of Annabelle Kern. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. She answered all of my questions thoroughly, made me feel comfortable, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me find the right fit instead of just rushing through the tour. Her communication and positive attitude really made the experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend asking for Annabelle if you’re looking into Waterstone Landing!

Waterstone apartment's look nice but the actual quality isn't quite on par with the price. All the sinks, in every apartment, have water damage in the cabinets underneath from leaks were the pipes were fixed but nothing was done to the cabinets. Our window in the living room wasn't sealed properly and leaked badly when there was heavy rain. This wasn't fixed until the second ticket we submitted. The office staff was almost impossible to reach the first two years we lived there and would never answer the phone. This has improved over the last year. My biggest gripe with the Waterstone comes from a week long period where we lost access to Spectrum (Internet and Cable). Waterstone instructed the residents to call Spectrum and get the services reconnected. After two hour phone calls five days in a row I believe that Waterstone was arguing over prices and the services were cut off. So residents wasted hours of their lives calling and had no internet or cable for a week while Waterstone was acting like it was a Spectrum issue while it was more of a not paying the bill issue. I had trouble every year with Waterstone and my renters insurance. I renewed my lease and had active renters insurance but Waterstone automatically enrolled me in their third party renters insurance. They charged me for 5+ months before I noticed and never received a refund. The following year, my renters insurance expired and I needed to submit the new policy. The day after it expired the payment portal showed I owed ~$15 for their third party renter's insurance. I got a copy of the new policy, which you can't even get until the day after the old one expires, and submitted that via email and the Waterstone portal. A member of the office staff confirmed they received the updated insurance and that there was no lapse in coverage so I didn't owe the ~$15 and it would be removed from my account. A few days later it was still there so I followed up with the office staff and they said they couldn't handle it but their supervisor or someone from the Towne Properties office would take care of it. A few days go by and we received a letter on our door. It was a notice that we owed money and could be evicted if not paid by a certain date. This was over $15...that I already spoke with someone multiple times about and they confirmed I did not owe... Our microwave died earlier this year. That took over 2 months to get replaced. The most annoying part was when I called the only update I would get was that they were ordered. After months I got in touch with Nolan, who just started working at Waterstone. I brought this to his attention and asked if we could have the microwave from the apartment across the hall which had been vacant for over a year. Not sure where he got it from but that afternoon a microwave was installed in our apartment. Not sure why it took 2 months but Nolan helped more in his first week than anyone else at that complex did in 3 years. Lastly, one of the summer's the pool was out of commission for the entire year. Not sure what the cause was, if they were unprepared or just couldn't get the water quality right but you pay for the amenity and couldn't use it.

I’ve been living here for about 9 months and while every home is going to have its issues here and there, I’ve loved my stay here so far!! I will say that the times I’ve spoken to the office for any needs, they’ve been more than accommodating and friendly and any issues I’ve encountered or needed help with, they’ve addressed promptly. The maintenance team here is EXCEPTIONAL and has gone above and beyond with any help we’ve needed in my time here! I know that people ALWAYS find a reason to complain, but I’m so glad I chose to make this my home for this time in my life!

Not a good place to live at all. Heat went out for three days, and it was below freezing outside. They refused to take any money off rent, and there is mildew all over the outside stairs. During the winter time while it was in single digit temperatures, they power washed the stairs and never told residents so I got soaked walking up to my apartment. The trash compactor broke, took at least a week to be fixed, they brought in dumpsters however they never dumped them, trash was all over the place and their solution was to charge the residents for the trash being a mess. Worst apartment I have ever lived in, would definitely not recommend.
