Hope Little Lake Erie in front of leasing office disappears in the driveway before next rain stom.

The gardens are always watered and the community is clean. It’s easy to put in maintenance request and they resolve it within 2 days. The apartments are spacious and have all the amenities. I’m really happy living here.

- NLNay LAug 11, 20261.0My experience at Gates Mill Apartments has been extremely frustrating. It feels like the property manager gaslights residents whenever there is an issue instead of taking responsibility or providing meaningful solutions. No matter what the situation is, concerns seem to be dismissed, minimized, or turned back on the residents rather than actually being addressed. The apartments themselves are badly in need of updates, and it is disappointing to see so little being done to improve the condition of the units. The building also has a strong, unpleasant garbage smell that can be difficult to ignore. Outside, the garbage situation is just as bad, with overflowing trash making the property look neglected. Maintenance has also been a major disappointment. Problems are often not fixed correctly or require repeated attention, which makes it frustrating for residents who expect basic issues to be properly resolved the first time. Overall, the property feels poorly maintained and poorly managed. Residents deserve better communication, accountability, cleanliness, and properly completed maintenance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Gates Mill Apartments.
