Moved in, apartment was still dirty, literally had clothes beside washer, dirt in fridge and microwave, completely gross, they tried to tell me that it was impossible to have "the people" come back to fix it and had to put my foot down and explain that hiring a cleaner was simple and inexpensive and had to demand they do it. Also they charge for services they do not provide, like pest control, which I have never even seen on the property, but I am charged monthly for anyway. To top it off, the trash disposal system is completely broken, there's a trash compactor but it is consistently full and blocks by 3 to 5 meters worth of trash piled high on the sidewalk, I tried to report this to the city but we'll see what comes of that. Finally this year has had one of the mildest of any ohio winter in my recent recollection, and as you would expect, the 1 or 2 times it has snowed it'd been taken care of well, however literally the third, and only the second more serious snow in columbus this whole season, they have completely dropped the ball, been two days since the snow came down and stopped, but no salt, and no scraping, the bottom steps of my building were covered solid in ice for multiple days, and the road in the complex is covered 50 percent or better in large, near invisible patches of black ice, from having melted and refrozen without anybody doing literally anything to prevent it. Staff is completely hands off, doesn't manage to do much maintenance wise, need to hire more maintenance and stop abusing current maintenance, as you see them 3 times a week throwing away the huge pile of trash that is always spilling into the street, and I can't imagine they had thought upon sign up that that would actually be one of their primary roles as maintenance. If I were making my living working anywhere in the chain of management of this establishment I would be embarrassed to make my living off of something so poorly done. This place is really a cancer, and a ship of fools, and as prices are going up, I'd really suggest going somewhere else; unless you are a professional tenant, in which case, you could really have yourself a time here, it might really be just the opportunity for growth and improvement everyone's looking for. Thanks.
