  my parents are currently buying a home and Corey has been great but the lack of attention to issues is concerning. almost a month in since demo the old place was demo'd and footers done first 3 days... all that's been done since was setting of the place, hooked up utilities... passed inspection yet the back door doesn't stay shut unless you deadbolt it... front door is off alignment and wont shut without lifting and shutting... porches aren't done, skirting isn't done, ventilation in bathroom isn't working and not to mention we wanted a walk in shower and we will be waiting for that from the jump for some reason. they don't work on the place longer than a couple hours when they show up and we haven't received any heads up as to when anything is getting done.... also tore the yard all up and the neighbors too at the end.. the excuse they are using is they are backed up, well considering it doesn't take long to do any of the things listed except fix the yard that's not a acceptable response. Not a good time tbh considering when firsted discussed part of the 4-5 weeks was waiting on the home to be made but we didnt have to wait on it. was done before demo day. didnt rain but 2 days first 2 and a half weeks but barely anything was done.

  So unhelpful and uninvolved. I dont understand how you expect someone to trust a company with such a large decision and investment when staff can't be bothered to show potential buyers around. We were told to go look around the homes on our own. Their display homes where in various states of disrepair. Pieces of trim stapled to walls, cracks in the walls, exposed insulation, and few looked like storage units. When we came in and asked about construction and upgrades we weren't given many options. The salesman then told us they have a model that has all oak cabinets and trim and proceeded to give us a price in a tone that indicated his lack of faith in our finances. Could have been our dream home and a big sale for them but we didn't bother based on customer service alone. If you are interested in Clayton home models I would suggest traveling just a little further up the road to the Clayton homes dealer. We didn't go there so I don't know that they are any better but the certainly can't be any worse.
