  I went on an apartment tour yesterday and was not disappointed. Everything is clean and beautiful. My tour guide, Bryce, was great. She is knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

  Don't have any, but after viewing all the negative reviews, I'm scratching this place off my list of places to move to! It looks very nice from road, but I'm not dealing with the problems stated in all these reviews! I'm very shocked.

  Moving is a pain in the butt, don’t waste your time moving here. Management gaslights and uses AI to respond to tenant concerns. The Greenway trash service is terrible, they won’t even take a 1ft tall old cat scratcher so you have to find your own way to dispose of anything bulky (even though you pay for it). Dishwasher has been broken for over 2 weeks and maintenance still hasn’t come. We’ve had consistent water issues both in the apartment and the pond is constantly overfilled. I’ve been here less than 2 years and out of the 8 surrounds apartments near me, only 2 original tenants remain, everyone else moved out. Take the hint, go elsewhere.

  We lived at Upper View Flats for over two years and were actually the first people to live in our apartment. Unfortunately, our experience was nowhere near what you would expect from a place advertised as a “luxury” apartment. The amount of fees is ridiculous. They even essentially charge you to rent the washer and dryer, which is something we had never experienced at another apartment. On move-out, they also tried to charge us for things that we felt were normal wear and tear. We were charged a redecoration fee for things like wall holes, yet they still wanted us to fix the walls when we moved out. The paint was so poorly done that it would literally peel off with barely any effort. They also tried to charge us $600–$800 for the glass-top stove because of normal staining from cooking. It wasn't damaged. I ended up having the stove professionally buffed and cleaned just so we wouldn't get charged. The fire alarms were another nightmare. They went off multiple times in the middle of the night, including around 3 a.m., sending us scrambling around the apartment thinking there was an actual fire. It turned out to be the alarms themselves. The trash situation is also ridiculous. You're limited to two bags, have to be home between roughly 6–8 p.m. for pickup, and you aren't allowed to use a dumpster or trash compactor. And if they don't pick up your trash, you're basically told to deal with the trash company yourself. Then there was the construction. After we'd lived there for about a year and a half, they started jackhammering the exterior walls. Living on the first floor, it sounded like it was happening inside our apartment. It was unbelievably loud and disruptive. To make matters worse, they actually broke our bedroom window while doing the work. When we complained, management basically said they had emailed us and were allowed to do the construction. That brings me to management. We brought multiple issues to the property manager and constantly felt like we were getting the runaround. Nobody seemed interested in actually solving problems. After more than two years there, we were honestly just glad to be out. For what they charge, this place is simply not worth the money. If you're thinking about moving here, read the reviews carefully and do your homework. Our experience was anything but “luxury,” and we would not recommend Upper View Flats.
