  I have been a resident at this property since 2021 (it opened in 2020). The community has gone downhill. It seems like the requirements to rent here have really relaxed, and the complex is starting to feel less like a nice downtown "luxury," apartment fit for professionals and more like community or subsidized housing. There has been an increase in large parties, weed smoking (even though this complex is non smoking), randoms and their friends using amenities, trash at the entrance, rowdy kids, loud arguments/fights, etc. The upkeep of the building, the enforcement of the rules, the care around making sure this community is a nice and safe one isn't the same since it was acquired by Crawford Hoying- but especially this year. I am not sure if they were trying to fill the building up to occupancy, so they've accepted anybody, but I'm really starting to not like what this complex is becoming. I've shared my complaints, and it seems like nothing is being done to make sure rules are being followed, and that the building is being maintained in and out.

  I’ve lived at Xander for a year, and while my experience started out great, it has unfortunately gone downhill fast. My first-floor unit flooded twice due to power washing performed by the maintenance department, which led me to request a transfer to another unit. Since moving, I’ve dealt with excessive and disruptive noise, along with ongoing parking issues. I pay a monthly fee for garage parking, yet I frequently come home to find no available spaces. It’s extremely frustrating to pay for an amenity that is not consistently available. I do not recommend Xander on state.

  Layne & Abi exceeded my expectations throughout the leasing process. I ask a lot of questions, and every one was met with a thorough and helpful answer. My application process was smooth, and I appreciate that my unit actually looks like the model unit I toured. I like things to be easygoing, and so far, that has been exactly my experience. I started the moving process yesterday, and Layne & Abi have already helped ensure everything goes smoothly. They even went the extra mile by placing my early-arriving packages in my unit. Thank you!

  I absolutely love my new apartment and the view! Abi was incredibly helpful throughout the move-in process and made everything so easy. The location is perfect—convenient & walkable. I love the pool & when the team passes out popsicles. So far, it’s been a wonderful experience!
