I would not recommend living here. There are so many communication issues. I was never informed of all the fees that would be added on to the rent until AFTER the application process and the day I signed my lease. They love throwing on random fees without telling you. It's almost impossible to get a hold of someone. And when you do they'll just tell you someone will call you back, which never happens. The parking situation is awful. They just hand out more parking passes than spaces available, and some people don't even move their cars. I'm only giving 2 stars because maintenance hasn't been an issue and the actual unit is very nice. Save your money and stay somewhere else. They have been shady since the very beginning.

I have posted a review here once before, but I'm posting a new one. What follows is my original review, and I'll follow up with what happened next:
"My primary issue with Prescott Place is their rent payment service. Despite having no trouble paying online with my bank account in any other situation, trying to pay rent here returned a series of errors and fees amounting to $180. I even contacted the help line for the service, had them explain the problem, fixed it, and was then charged another $35 despite doing what I was told would solve the problem. And of course, the leasing office "can't do anything" about it because any NSF fees are the renters problem, even if the errors were caused by the payment service itself.
The second problem I'd mention is the smell. The trash area is open to the weather, gets rained on constantly, and reeks so bad you can smell it as soon as you walk outside your door on some days."
After posting this, someone from Prescott place responded and encouraged me to contact the leasing office to "make it up to me." They put a $50 credit on my rent for the following month, less than 1/3 of the money I lost using their user-unfriendly service. I have had to skip multiple meals as a result of this nonsense, and their response was insulting.
Marley Gilchrist was simply trying to get me to stop bothering the office. I see now that Prescott Place is swapping away from the Active Building online service, which tells me I am not the only person to have similar problems.
