  Since management has changed over (Spring of 2026) Island Club has gone down hill. All renters insurance and payments have been switch to 3rd party vendors and contact information hasn't been shared when issues arise. Additionally the exterior storm damage from the winds in March has not been taken care of. The siding on my building continues to fall with any strong winds or storms and the wood is currently exposed and rotting. The car ports are unstable and susceptible to falling or blowing away and damaging cars in the process.

  I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel like people should know what my experience was like. Not long after I moved in, I had a water leak that went on for over a month before it was finally fixed. During that time, my carpet was soaked multiple times, and the drywall in my laundry closet became soft and warped from being wet for so long. It took maintenance weeks to figure out what was causing it. Then, a few months later, I had another leak in almost the exact same area. This time, water was literally dripping from a light fixture. The ceiling became stained from the moisture, and even after maintenance said it was fixed, the leak kept happening. After dealing with multiple leaks, I started getting concerned about mold. I found what appeared to be mold or mildew in the maintenance/electrical closet and reached out to the leasing office. I emailed and left three voicemails, but never got a response. Things break. I understand that. What frustrated me wasn’t just the leaks, it was how they were handled. Waiting weeks for issues to be resolved and not being able to get a response from management made it feel like my concerns weren’t taken seriously. Because of everything that’s happened, I’ve decided not to renew my lease. If maintenance issues and communication are important to you, I’d definitely keep my experience in mind before renting here.

  After signing the contract because they told me that the apartment was ready clean for me to move in, I found that the apartment was in poor condition, the carpet of the house was dirty, the smell was horrible, the fireplace was completely burned and in very bad condition, the bathrooms dirty, the balcony with lack of paint, the apartment was completely dirty to live in.

  She was so helpful, great communication. we came here 11th July with a rush to find a home. She solved all the problems.

  Horrible experience! The workers are rude and the lose certain papers when they’re needed. They play dumb whenever you have an issue, we didn’t even move in with our kids because it’s unsafe, there are bugs and the AC was broken and they said “we will get to it” and gave us a portable AC that can only stay in one room! If u could rate them less than 1 star I would! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! There’s also reports of fires starting and one of the plugs we have looks like it caught on fire once. This place needs new management and new workers and everything needs fixed!
