  While the pool is nice during the summer, it doesn’t come close to making up for the ongoing issues with maintenance and overall property management. Repairs are consistently done with minimal effort, often cutting corners instead of actually fixing the problem the right way. This creates a cycle where the same issues keep coming back. Winter maintenance is also a serious concern. Walkways and stairs are not properly shoveled, and plowing is extremely delayed. During a snow emergency, the complex went two full days without being plowed. I understand that travel is discouraged in those conditions, but essential workers like first responders and healthcare staff are still required to report to work. My husband had to physically shovel his way out every few feet for nearly half a mile just to leave the complex and make it to his job. The lack of snow and ice removal is not just inconvenient, it is unsafe. As someone who is pregnant, navigating unshoveled walkways and icy stairs was a significant safety risk. On top of that, while I cannot speak for every unit, ours had an outdated AC system that caused repeated issues each summer. When it broke, it was not a quick fix. It required special, outdated coolant that had to be ordered, which led to long delays. We went up to a week in the middle of summer without air conditioning, with indoor temperatures reaching around 85 degrees. That is not a reasonable living condition. Overall, the lack of timely maintenance, poor repair quality, and inadequate seasonal upkeep make it hard to justify living here, regardless of the few amenities offered.

  Management was wonderful and there was some delays in me moving in but management handled everything perfectly and my request was met in a timely manner so overall I am grateful that I am all moved in

  DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have not been happy with the Island Club. My apartment unit itself had several issues when I moved in. There was water damage in the bathroom cabinet, the shower head was literally coming off of the wall, there was a roach issue that I dealt with for months, the baseboards in my apartment are coming off of the walls, the pantry and guest room closet doors have come off the hinges several times, my balcony screen door has come off the hinges several times, there are loud children who stay on the sports court all night long and leave the floodlights on which shines directly into my unit, they also play ding-dong ditch and are very disruptive in the buildings they don't even live in. The dryer has not worked properly since I moved in, even with very small loads I will have to run it 3-4 times for my clothes to be dry. I've also had my bathroom flooded from an issue in the unit above me and did not receive any follow up information as to what the root problem was.

  Do not live here! Do not live here! This is the worst leasing office I’ve ever seen. They can do nothing about your problems but can instantly tow your car parking at your own community after snow and charge for 400 dollars. I will give 0 star if I could. During the snow days they leave the snow as it is and the road was extremely slippery and iced. The very Monday morning it was snowing and the snow covered the parking line. The snow wasn’t cleared timely and I had a very hard time to park into the space next to another vehicle and didn’t block any lanes. They towed my car without notice, but I was just a slightly over the line because I couldn’t see it at the snow! I feel extremely disgusted and disappointed. This is blackmail. This is stupid. They just do this for earning the money. Meanwhile they have such an instant reaction for earning money, they NEVER do anything about the problems. The dogs poop everywhere, the snow never cleaned, the water is smelly. If you live here, every time you walk into the leasing office, the only thing you can get is “THERE’S NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!”
