  Through no fault of their own, I incurred financial troubles and I didn’t foresee and could no longer afford to rent from F&W Properties. I have made multiple attempts to communicate all issues with the property through email. I’ve been open, transparent, and honest, have asked if they’d be willing to work with me, etc. I’ve communicated with three different people who have all pointed me in different directions, and when I brought that up because I began getting confused- I was met with a response that started with, “I’m not sure what the confusion is.” and/or no response. Certain questions I asked for clarification or confirmation went unanswered. I then received a 3-day notice in response, which could have been stated in a reply to the last unanswered email I left. When I sent an email including multiple people calling them out for it, they decided to shoot me a text faster than I’d ever gotten a response. I’ve clearly stated that I wanted to work everything out as best as we could. Clearly, that’s not the case. Does courtesy and empathy only exist to those with perfect lives? It’s hard enough as it is with the rising costs. As a communications major, this whole ordeal has left a bad taste in my mouth

  I had an issue with my bathroom drain clogged up sent my maintenance request and the very next day at the time I choose for maintenance to come they were on time with shoe covers on his shoes a my bathroom sink was fix!! And I like to add very professional and polite

  I’ve rented my apartment with F and W properties for more than 28 years and the staff and maintenance crews are very hardworking and caring! They get things done properly and stay in touch! Thanks guys

  This is the worst property I have ever lived in, and the management and maintenance team are extremely unprofessional. Management does not respond to you whatsoever. The only time they seem polite and responsive is when they are trying to get you to move in. After you sign your lease, good luck trying to reach anyone. I genuinely wish I had listened to the reviews before moving here. The gate is constantly broken and probably works only a quarter of the year, which is especially concerning considering the area. Maintenance requests can take MONTHS to be addressed. I am still waiting on one of mine right now. My bathroom has been leaking water, they have attempted to fix it twice, and the issue still isn’t resolved. The walls are also extremely thin. You can hear practically everything happening in the apartments around you, including people’s private and intimate activities. Overall, between management and maintenance, this has been the worst apartment experience I have ever had. If I could give this property zero stars, I would. Please save your money. I understand why someone might consider living here because of the price. They may also offer you discounts and incentives when they’re trying to get you to move in. Don’t let that convince you. I made that mistake, and I regret it. I have never left a negative apartment review in my life. This is actually my first one, but my experience here has been bad enough that I felt like I needed to warn other people. Based on my experience, it does not feel like management cares about its tenants once they have signed their lease. Please read the other reviews carefully before deciding to move here. I wish I had. No amount of savings is worth this place

  Beware of the bait and switch schemes that this company is executing. Yesterday, my husband and I applied for a house that was listed on their website, on apartments.com and on Zillow at $1400. We spoke to a leasing agent in the office that CONFIRMED it was $1400, and we VIEWED the house. Once our applications were in, and they got $100 from us for them, we were approved, THEN they told us the property is actually $1950, and were *shocked* that we were upset and unable to pay that. I was told the property manager would contact me today about refunding our application fees due to the illegal change in cost AFTER we applied, but instead, they are screening my calls today, and have changed the listing. I have proof of WHEN they changed the cost of the house. But they won’t answer me, so now I’m filing a report with the attorney general and the BBB. Avoid these scam artists.
