  DO NOT RENT from Jeff, PMI Gatekeeper Properties. He is deceitful and cheap. Saw this apartment on Zillow, rent said $850 plus gas & electric. Met Jeff in person to see the place. He confirmed the monthly price. The first floor had a musky smell. Went downstairs to the basement, which I had to ask to see, and it smelled AWFUL. I have asthma and was concerned. He said he would do something about it. My fiance and I paid $100 in application fees. AFTER we paid, he then says there's a $30 monthly fee for this insurance he provides, saying it's non negotiable and "every tenant has to pay if they want to live here." Then, starts to say there's also a trash removal fee. None of this was stated on Zillow, or said in person. When we asked him, he said "it was on my website." What website?! .... When we asked about the basement again, he suddenly forgot. We saw these as red flags and asked for our money back. He refused to refund our money!!! I reported him to the police and the Board of Real Estate Agents in Columbus. Hopefully he will be reprimanded. Who else has he taken advantage of??? What else does he hide? BEWARE of this man, PMI Gatekeeper Properties, and his shady practices! Just saw that same apartment is back up for rent on Zillow. You be the judge.

  DO NOT rent from this property management company. If you want to be dismissed, ignored, and talked to condescendingly then go for it. The house I moved into has mold, and developed an ant issue at the start of spring. Here’s the best part! It’s my toddlers fault. Alll the more reason for me to KEEP my house clean. I’ve been ignored for over a month. Despite my reaching out made several attempts at informing Jeff. He told me HIS OWN house has ants. That it was MY responsibility to get pest control, even through my lease clearly states I can request it. So not only am I supposed to pay $1745 a month to live in a house with mold, I’m also supposed to live with ants, and it’s MY fault. This property wasn’t clean when I moved in. Not to mention all the trash, broken smashed canoe, literal BARREL of oil and miscellaneous wires in the back yard. As tenants we took the liberty of cleaning a lot of that up because his company wasn’t going to make it there until spring time. 4 - 5 months later…. Even installed a new shed, and turned the canoe into a flower bed. But we can’t even make a simple request for pest control without being patronized. RIDICULOUS.

  I have been using Mr. Jeff Post’s management services to manage 3 units (a single family and a duplex) in the Cincinnati area. We have had a very favorable experience—rates are fare, he and his crew find tenants quickly (there is a low vacancy rate), he is personally involved with major decisions/repairs and gives me a call to discuss, and most of all, he is quite trustworthy. If I could clone him to manage my properties in another state, I would!
