Westbrook is a wonderful apartment complex, the staff at the office Tina, Janel, and Andrew are wonderful people who always help out, and make everyone feel welcome. They care about the residents and follow up on issue.
The maintenance staff for my building, Archie and Mark are wonderful and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Juana, our cleaning staff helps make sure the apartments are clean and well maintained.
The building is in a good area and you can find a few parks nearby, with easy access to 480 and 71/77. Absolutely recommend that you look at Westbrook!

I moved here in September on 2025 and I have loved it. It is so clean and well maintained, my last apartment building was SOO dirty in the hallways and so that was a very important thing for me to have in my new place. The leasing office staff is great, Tina & Janell are so responsive and very kind and helpful, and even helped me get approved while dealing with some things from my previous apartment. They are always available to help and never act like something is below them/irritating. And the maintenance and custodial staff is amazingggg. Archie and Mark on the maintenance team are phenomenal and always treat your problems like as if it was their very own home, making sure everything is done to the highest standard and never rushing though anything. Also very respectful and trustworthy guys which is also big for me because I am not comfortable with having other people in my apartment that I don't know but they have shown me that I can trust them! And like I said, the building is always being cleaned and that is thanks to Michelle. The halls are vacuumed regularly (which each building is 7 floors so that's no joke), their stairwells cleaned, and the elevators are always cleaned, from my experience. They are constantly making upgrades to the buildings to give us the best and I definitely notice and appreciate that because when you find a place actually reasonably priced in this economy you kind of start to wonder "what am I going to have to compromise on?" But from my experience I have not had to compromise on anything, in fact everything has exceeded my expectations with how fast they respond to maintenance request (within two days MAX), emails, and phone calls. Also this is not sponsored I'm still paying the full rent lol I just wanted to give some thanks to the people who make me happy to call this place home because it was a longgg time coming!

I lived at Westbrook Village for five years — just me and my son — and what hurts the most is how quickly all of that loyalty, stability, and history meant nothing to the people running this property. I built my first home here as a single mom. I raised my son here. I paid every month on time, kept my apartment clean, and did everything a resident is supposed to do.But the way management treated me made it clear that long-term residents like me are not valued. I was on the waiting list for a garage for five years. When I finally got one, the very next day there was a note on my car telling me I wasn’t allowed to park there. It was humiliating. I had to walk into the office and remind them that they had just called me the day before to give me the garage. Then there was the furniture issue. I made a mistake and damaged part of the fence. I owned that immediately. I spoke to the office, agreed to pay for it, and thought we had a plan. The very next day, without any conversation, there was a notice on my door saying my lease would not be renewed. After five years of being a responsible resident, that was devastating. What makes this even harder is the pattern I’ve seen. The way I was spoken to, the way I was treated, the way decisions were made without explanation — it left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. And when another long-term Black family received a similar notice around the same time, it was impossible not to notice who was being pushed out as the property started making upgrades. I can only speak from my experience, but the treatment felt discriminatory and deeply disappointing. The environment itself has also declined. There is dog waste all over the property. Dogs run through the halls without leashes. The hallways, stairwells, and elevators often smell like urine, feces, and smoke. There has been mold that was painted over instead of properly fixed.I stayed because once I got inside my own apartment, it felt like home. I stayed because my son has gone to Brooklyn schools his whole life. I stayed because I wanted stability. But the way management handled things — the lack of respect, the lack of communication, the lack of fairness — made it clear that families like mine are not a priority here. Before Westbrook, I lived at Trinity Towers for ten years and never experienced anything like this. That’s why this hurts so much. I expected better.I’m sharing my story so others can make an informed decision. Westbrook Village might work as a temporary place to start out, but based on my experience, I would not recommend it for long-term living, raising a family, or for anyone who wants to feel respected and supported in their home.
