  I had a great experience with Kamilah Shah at The Altos White Plains! She is incredibly nice, professional, and personable, and she makes you feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you interact with her. Her positive attitude, friendly personality, and willingness to help really stand out. It’s refreshing to meet someone who genuinely cares about providing excellent customer service. Kamilah is a great asset to The Altos, Thank you for making the experience such a positive one!

  ❌ Do Not Move Here – Outdated, Overpriced, and Unfair FeesI do not recommend this property. The management uses outdated photos from years ago to trick you, but the reality of living here is a nightmare. Leaking & Dirty: It is labeled an "indoor garage," but rain and snow constantly drip inside. The walls are filthy and unpainted, and certain levels are covered in years of uncleaned bird droppings. Predatory Pricing: There are plenty of empty spots, but staff will aggressively push you to buy the high-priced lower levels. Broken Elevator: The garage relies on only one elevator for the entire structure. It frequently breaks down, leaving residents stranded for days at a time. Fake Pictures: The "playrooms" in their advertising no longer exist. The appliances are incredibly old and white/black—nothing like the stainless steel shown in their marketing. Broken Appliances: My electric stove plates were warped and deformed from age. The AC is loud and frequently fails. Expect constant dryer issues; I had to call maintenance three separate times in one year for the dryer alone. Lack of Privacy: The pool is right off the street with zero privacy. The BBQ grills are placed in a high-traffic walkway where people constantly cross. Hidden Fees: There is a mandatory $75 internet fee hidden in the lease (I paid $25 previously). If you want to use the party room, they slap you with an extra $400 minimum charge. The fire alarms also go off constantly because of neighbors smoking indoors. Security Deposit Scam: Beware of renewal rent spikes, but expect to be nickel-and-dimed when you leave. I took immaculate care of my place and didn't put a single hole in the walls. Regardless, they charged me carpet damage" fee and hundreds more for "cleaning" over minor dust. They will look for any excuse to drain your security deposit so they don't have to pay you back. Hostile Neighbors: The walls are thin and neighbors complain constantly, even about low-volume music during the middle of the day.Save your money and frustration. Look elsewhere!
