I'm a new tenant, but so far I love my apartment. Thank you Travis and Megan for always ready to assist with any questions or concerns I may have even before I move in. I love quiet, and its very peaceful here too.

My experience living here has been mixed. One thing that has definitely improved, at least in my building, is the mouse problem. I haven’t had issues with mice since I moved here. The apartments are also large and spacious inside. They have upgraded many of the units, and they look nice overall. However, the kitchen countertops seem to be made of cheap materials that stain and scratch very easily. Unfortunately, there are still several ongoing issues. The biggest problem is maintenance. Repairs take a very long time, even when staff personally tell you they will come the next day. I currently have two open maintenance tickets that have been waiting for over 14 days with no resolution. Parts of the wall have been peeling, the sink counter is separating from the wall, and holes have formed around the bathtub that have exposed mold. I even had two picture frames fall because of these issues. I was never told there would be compensation for the damage, so that was money lost on my end. Another ongoing issue is the laundry facilities. The washers and dryers are rarely fully functional. When they are repaired, they often work for only a few days before breaking again. If you lose money using a machine that isn’t working properly, management does not reimburse you. The pool is large, and management seems focused on improving the outside appearance of the property, which is appreciated. However, the pool water itself, always appears dirty. The last time I visited, I noticed hair and even a plastic bag floating in the water. The buildings also look like unfinished projects. I often feel embarrassed when guests visit because they ask why the buildings appear so run-down. The roads throughout the complex are also in poor condition, and you’ll feel every bump while driving through. Overall, considering today’s housing market and rental prices, this is not the worst place to live. The apartments are spacious and reasonably priced compared to many other options. However, management needs to improve maintenance response times, repair quality, laundry facilities, and property upkeep to justify the rent residents are paying.

I have been here over 18 years and the new staff in the leasing office are amazing. They take any concerns seriously and they and the maintenance team work very hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. Any work orders I've put in has been completed quickly which I'm thankful for.

When we first moved in our a/c was broken, they gave us portables which ran up our electric bill because it was 80° inside and there’s only so much a small portable can do in a large apartment. They didn’t bother to fix the ac in the apartment until this may, so about 9 months it was broken. The dumpster where you dispose your trash is always filthy, tenants being too lazy to put the bag in the dumpster and just letting it sit NEXT to the dumpster. I submitted a ticket for the paint in the bathtub peeling off in April; it is now June and no reply. The dryer is always stealing money off of the card, when emailing about it they took 2 months to respond for reimbursement to which they said they could only reimburse 15$ out of the 60$ it had taken, because they “lost the paperwork”. We are moving in July and all I can say is there is plenty of other rentals in this city which are cheaper and better!

I moved from Connecticut to Albany and chose Lakeshore Drive Apartments as my new home. So far, it has been a good experience. The rent is affordable compared to many other places in the area, and the community offers moderate amenities that are practical and well maintained. The apartments are pet friendly, which was important for me. The maintenance team responds in a timely manner whenever needed, and the leasing office staff have also been helpful and professional throughout the process. Overall, it’s a comfortable and budget-friendly place to live.
