I enjoyed my time here. The management is super helpful and nice. The location you cant beat. I never had a problem and the entire lease was smooth. The parking is very helpful in the location. Great communication at the property!

I’ve had a great experience with Skidmore Apartments. One thing that really stands out is the staff—they’re always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help whenever you have a question or need assistance. It’s clear they genuinely care about their residents. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to everything Saratoga has to offer. I appreciate the positive atmosphere and responsive management, and I’d definitely recommend Skidmore Apartments to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Building is dirty, smells bad constantly from the laundry room that has never been cleaned. It’s way overpriced. They don’t care about the tenants at all, they will do the absolute bare minimum cheapest option or often nothing at all. Our ceiling tiles are still caved in and water damaged 2 years after it happened. The office is incredibly unhelpful and rude. The only plus this place has is the proximity to town. Burns is the Definition of slum lords and it’s disgusting

I can't tell you how much I hate the AI resident services thing.
Hated our time here. Rent went up a ton every time our lease renewed, plus we had a huge issue with mold that has caused my fiancé and I possibly lifelong health issues. We reported mold growth on bedroom windows to maintenance more than once and were told multiple times to just wipe it off with a paper towel. Months later we discovered a GIANT patch of mold all up the inner closet wall that had been hidden behind clothing. No wonder we were getting sick.
Our apartment was unusable for our whole last month as they tried to clear the mold and eventually stripped the entire closet walls out. We stayed with a nearby relative at the time but were still forced to pay that month's rent because our things were still in the rest of the apartment despite the entire bedroom (in a 1 bedroom apartment) being unusable. Our entire mattress/bedding, a couch, and much of our clothing had to be thrown out due to mold damage. Lucky we had renters insurance. We tried to get our money back for this final month's rent (our lease specifically said we could if the space was deemed unusable, and we were told it was unsafe to stay in the bedroom while it was
being fixed — which took almost all month), but they ignored all our calls, and due to the pandemic no one was ever in the office when this happened (last year) to stop by in person.
We even had to fight tooth and nail for nearly a whole year to get them to pay the last month's electricity bill while they had the HVAC machine running 24/7, which they previously stated they would pay. Hated our time here, wouldn't recommend to anyone. They also gave our friend who rented from them as well a ton of other problems and unnecessary charges due to things that were not at all her fault. Also was a pain to find parking (almost always had to park down a block or two).
