  Second update: Maintenance people seem to enter whenever they like and left a mess? The Office stated that the maintenance entered our apartment by accident. They moved our dirty dishes in the sink to the top of stove and attracted a ton of flies because they thought they needed to fix the sink. They didn’t put it back to our sink and left a mess. No note was left that stated maintenance has been in the unit until we called to office to confirm. It’s been like this for a while and I always feel like different people knock on my door without me being aware. I don’t understand why the maintenance quality is like this and if the office is addressing this. If you’re considering this apartment do be aware this is what you’re going to deal with. Updated: DO NOT PICK THIS APARTMENT unless you’re confident that your unit won’t have any maintenance issues. The maintenance team here is very inefficient and sometimes rude. They wouldn’t come to fix issues unless it’s “emergency “ even tho there has been flies flying in the building because of the broken wall. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you know how to fix things. You can definitely find a better place with the same amount of money. It’s a decent apartment with spacious room. However the building is really old and if you live downstairs you might hear upstairs walking and floor creaking. Maintenance is very passive and won’t fix anything if it’s not necessary. In my building there are also a lot of flies, our fly trap blue light tape catches hundreds of flies in a week. I personally would rather spend $200 more for a better place. For the amount of issues it has Greystone is definitely overpriced.

  The new internet service has been a real struggle. The connection is slow, the router they provided keeps dying, and we even had a full day with no Wi‑Fi. My phone’s data works better than the apartment’s network. We used to pay for our own Spectrum plan and everything worked perfectly — no lag, no drops, and I could run my own small server for fun. Now I can’t access my router settings or use the ports I bought my equipment for. The hardest part is the blame going in circles. Spectrum says it’s the apartment’s issue, the apartment says talk to the third‑party, and the third‑party sends us back to Spectrum. Meanwhile, we’re stuck with a $70 service that performs like a $10 plan. We were fine for a whole year with our own setup. I wish residents had the option to keep their own service instead of being forced into something that doesn’t work well for us. Update: From 2 star To 1 star so the service came to fix the router boom 12:20 AM the router died again -_- at this point GIVE US BACK OUR SERVICE OUR FREEDOM THIS IS AMERICA. Update: 1 to 4 star I finally figured out the issue. When the Greystone router died, I switched to my own router. I tried uploading a picture and was only getting 10 Mbps. After changing a few settings on my router, my Wi‑Fi jumped to 316.51 Mbps. If you’re using the Greystone router… good luck. You can’t change any Wi‑Fi settings, and you can’t factory reset it because the power plug is connected to the monitor, which is not a smart idea. That’s why the router keeps dying. I FIXED IT MYSELF because I was tired of slow Wi‑Fi. It even crashed in the middle of my Warframe match when I was almost at 9999—UGHHHHHHHHHHH. How to Fix It (My Advice) MUST USE a different router. The Greystone router will keep dying on you, and waiting for their tech team is a pain. Calling them is also a pain in the ass. Option 1 — Easiest: Factory reset your own router. Create two separate Wi‑Fi networks: Regular 2.4 GHz 5 GHz This is the fastest and most stable fix. Option 2 — More advanced: Mess around with your router settings — especially the Wi‑Fi channel. It works, but it takes longer. I still recommend Option 1 first. IMPORTANT: Make sure you set your own Wi‑Fi name and password so random people don’t connect to your network.
