  거대한 아파트다.(약 1700세대라고 한다) 이름도 무려 런던 테라스다.(이름은 1900년대 초 이 아파트로 재개발 되기 전 이곳 동네 명칭에서 비롯됐다) 규모와 모습이 너무 압도적이라 좋아하며 한참을 감상했다. 유럽에 있는 것을 가져다가 유럽에 없는 것들을 만들던 시절에 지어진, 자본주의화 된 사회주의 공동주택의 표본 같은 존재다.

  Management is a real weak point. After moving out, getting any response about my security deposit felt like pulling teeth — 4 emails and a voicemail over 4 weeks before they finally got back to me saying they'd look into it, but couldn't because of a snowstorm. I'm still not sure what weather has to do with cutting a check, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They promised a follow-up within 4 days. It never came. Only after I sent them a negative review did they suddenly spring into action — and in doing so, casually admitted the snowstorm story wasn't true. They sent over a tracking number, which felt like progress, except the label was created and nothing has actually been shipped since. It's less any one incident and more the overall pattern: slow responses, flimsy excuses, and transparency that only appears under pressure. The front-facing staff are genuinely great, but if you ever need to deal with management directly — especially after move-out — keep records of everything and don't expect much proactivity on their end.
