I have been requesting a carpet replacement or at least a professional carpet cleaning from Eagle Rock Properties for over a year. Last year, maintenance came to measure the carpet and told me everything was approved and that I would receive a date for installation. After that, nobody followed up, called, or scheduled anything.
This year, during lease renewal, I brought the issue up again because the carpet is in very bad condition. During the winter, water was coming in from the back door due to snow, leaving a large stain in the living room area. I explained that if replacing the carpet was not possible, I would at least appreciate having it professionally cleaned.
I spoke with Rob, who repeatedly told me that Carissa would contact me to discuss options. I was also told someone would call me back after I contacted the main company directly. It has now been several weeks, and nobody has called, followed up, or even given me a clear answer.
What is most disappointing is not only the lack of action, but the lack of communication and professionalism. A simple phone call with an honest answer would have been appreciated instead of being ignored for over a year.
At this point, I will have to clean the carpet myself, but I felt it was important to share my experience for future tenants.
