DO NOT RENT HERE! I had SEVERAL issues here while renting for the past 6 months. There is a serious plumbing and mold issue that they “bandaid” and do not fully address. I had multiple leaks, a positive mold test, and constant sewage smell to come home to every day. When I brought up these issues, there was never an apology, and never a sense of urgency to fix these problems. My apartment smelled heavily of Mold, musty mildew smell that locked into every piece of clothing I owned, my bed and my couch. I would go to work with my uniform smelling like water damage. The only thing they somewhat urgently fixed was the multiple leaking holes in the ceiling, but that was after they sent their “macitence tech” over with a box cutting knife. No, this needed a PLUMBER ASAP, to help me with water literally pouring out of the ceiling non stop. Not only is there multiple plumbing/mold serious issues, the apartment is infested with aunts. I was treated extremely poorly by property manager Alyhia on multiple accounts, and had to nag her to fix things or else they just would not get done. As you can see in the text, she “says” she will get in touch with a restoration company. She did not do so until the month I was moving out , 2 months after to this text, which obviously, in preparation to get it fixed for the next renter. I said absolutely not do it when I leave at this point, as you’ve waited nearly until it was my time to leave to actually get on the ball with that. She is unprofessional and makes it clear once you’re in the complex you’re not as important as you once were when you were looking. My last very unfortunate interaction with her included myself sending her a text stating please let me know what I owe so I do not get hit with any UNNECESSARY late fees, she told me what I owed and I paid it, I got my security deposit back with deductions due to fees including a late fee. She then says , you returned your keys a day late, which we had previously talked about as my last day was on a Sunday. I got the keys to her at 12:30 pm the next day, Monday. And she tells me after I get my deposit that I get a late fee for returning the keys a day later? Unbelievable!!! I could go on and on. Lastly when I moved in I was left with an oven that didn’t work and left in such bad shape and it took them a whole month to replace it, after lots of “reminders”. $1600 a month for this!! I feel very sorry for the next renter in apartment 3 building 8. Not one thing was done to accommodate me for my severe inconvenience at this place. Here are many photos for proof. Unfortunately, I can’t show how horrific the place SMELLED!
