  This place is run like a third world country my apartment is infested with squirrels running around in my ceiling I have been here 3 months and constantly complain to the front desk. The response is you’re on the squirrel list. My back porch floods every rain storm I have asked them to grade property away from my porch since I moved in multiple issues Iam going to reach out to the state and file a complaint based on tenants rights stay away from this section 8 hole!!!!!!

  Korey (Maybe Corey) helped me with securing an apartment and he is incredible. He made me feel welcomed, was clear about what was needed every step of the way, and even sent me a video of the apartment before move-in showing it was freshly renovated. My apartment is beautiful and I have a lush backyard!

  Worst apartment complex I've had to deal with. They pick and choose what issues they want to resolve and decided to send me a bill 3 years after I moved out for unpaid rent. I wouldn't recommend anyone move here unless your ok losing brain cells dealing with their lack of common sense.

  If I could give zero stars, I would. I lived here for almost a year. I made my payments on time for rent. There are issues with my apartment that maintenance has been requested several times and things still haven’t been fixed since moving in. There are dead animals everywhere and every entryway is rotted stairs and broken lights. They will do everything they can to get more money from you. Don’t think that you can just move out when your lease ends, you will be charged. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

  I am writing this as a warning for anyone interested in renting a property at Twin Lakes. I have only lived in this complex for 50 days, however it has been hell trying to receive help from the team here. Starting move-in day, my central air didn’t work, my microwave was not only dirty but broken, and numerous other issues. Within the first week I put in 5 work orders to fix a lot of problems with the space. It took two weeks to have someone replace the microwave and to fix the central air, mind you it is the middle of summer. In total I’ve put in nearly 10 maintenance requests, and I am concerned that somebody signed off that the condition of this space was suitable for somebody to live in. I’ve had a leak in my roof for the past month. I reported this incident via email, phone, and work order. The leak started off small however over time the size began to grow. A month after originally placing the work order for this, maintenance finally came and just spray painted over the stained ceiling. However since they did not fix the underlying issue of my roof being broken, my entire living room ceiling has water damage and is on the verge of collapsing. Also do not go to this complex if you don’t like little friends running around! There are mice in these apartments and pest control only comes once a week. I found a mouse in my place and had to buy my own traps because they wanted to wait a number of days before sending someone to come and look at it. They outsource most of their maintenance issues to other companies which allows them to be ambiguous when repairs and problems occur and they can later blame contractors for shoddy work and lackluster service. Unfortunately you will never be able to get a straight answer from maintenance or the leasing office regarding problems. These 1 star reviews are genuinely true, and I am unsure how anyone could rate this complex otherwise. Its reputation precedes them as a coworker overheard me talking about this complex and said his horrible experience being a resident here. I have no suitable path forward and my apartment is currently uninhabitable. No amount of apologies (and there has been a substantial amount in my 50 days here) that can fix the stress this complex has put on me. With incoming bad weather I can only assume my ceiling will collapse in on itself due to the sheer amount of water damage incurred due to property managements negligence. Donald Garner, the property manager, has proven himself to be inadequate to provide fair and safe housing for his tenants. He even admitted fault and negligence on himself and his team’s behalf. For a property manager to admit they knowingly have been negligent regarding my issues is astounding and disheartening to know the town allows them to rent these spaces to people when this space we are renting is someone’s livelihood and where they have to call home. I would recommend anyone considering this complex to steer clear as there are lots of different complexes in this area that are run more efficiently and operate with the mindset of “ how can we help our residents” whereas this complex has repeatedly shown their motto is “ what can we get away with”. Please take this as a warning and save yourself from unsafe living conditions, poor management, and horrendous maintenance.
