Unfortunately, the quality of this apartment complex has gone downhill significantly since the previous property manager, Melissa, left. When Melissa was managing the property, it was noticeably better maintained, organized, and cared for. She was present, responsive, and made residents feel like their concerns were actually being addressed. Since Claudia took over as the new property manager, there has been a very noticeable decline. Claudia is rarely in the office or available when residents need assistance, and the overall upkeep of the property has declined significantly. It simply does not feel like the same community it was when Melissa was managing it. The lack of communication and management has become such an issue that I have ultimately decided to leave the complex. Unfortunately, even moving out has become unnecessarily difficult. My new apartment complex has been trying to contact Claudia for a rental verification for the past two weeks and has yet to receive a response. This is directly affecting my ability to move forward with my new apartment and is incredibly frustrating. A basic rental verification should not take weeks of repeated attempts to receive a response. Melissa set a much higher standard for this community, and unfortunately, that standard has not been maintained since Claudia took over. After watching the property decline and now having my move delayed because management will not respond to a simple rental verification request, I feel confident that leaving is the right decision. I sincerely hope upper management takes these concerns seriously because this used to be a much better place to live.

Loft 205 was by far the grossest place I’ve ever lived- and I’ve leased apartments in a dozen states over the years. First of all- there is absolutely nothing that qualifies this place as “luxury” so they should really stop using that word in the advertising. Literally low end everything from the cabinets to the fixtures to the finishes to the stench of the place, to the constant leaks, floods, etc. The building has been poorly maintained over the years and should probably be gutted and fully renovated at this point. Aside from the building be absolutely disgusting, the Conservice bill is a scam and a half. They tally up the whole building’s water and electricity usage and divide by the number of units. Your apartment size is factored in as well. That’s bull crap. You can’t prove that someone in a two bedroom is using more power and water than someone in a studio. So if you’re someone who doesn’t use much water and electricity, you will be paying out the butt for everyone else’s. Unsurprisingly, there have been several class action lawsuits against Conservice. The cable and internet “deal” that you are forced to pay for is also a bit scammy. You can get internet for cheaper than what they make you pay. They justify this by saying “but you’re getting cable, too!”. Ok but not everyone cares about having cable. And then there’s the valet trash fee they make you pay- for a service that isn’t even seven days a week and makes the halls reek like trash. Last time I checked, grown adults are more than capable of taking their own trash to a dumpster, but they can’t make money off you that way. Aside from the location, there was nothing good about Loft 205. It’s been quite a while since I moved out but I still shudder when I think of the place. Do not recommend.
