James Hughes was born in Reno, NV and spent most of his life in Nevada, Southern California, and Tucson, Arizona. He joined the Air Force directly out of high school and retired 20 years later in 2015. He was a Crew Chief on HH-60G PaveHawk Helicopters, specializing in Combat Search and Rescue Operations. During his time in the Air Force, he deployed five times in support of Combat Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent 10 of his 20 years right here in the Las Vegas, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. He has a Masters Degree in Project Management and a Bachelors Degree in Professional Aeronautics, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is the Team Lead of Hughes Group, and an Expansion Agent from Team Integrity Tucson.
