Warning to Prospective Tenants: Deceptive Security Deposit Practices
Rent here at your own financial risk. This management team does not return security deposits, regardless of your standing as a tenant.
I lived at this property for two years with a flawless rent payment history. Move-in requires a nearly $2,000 deposit explicitly stated as refundable, an agreement they do not honor. Upon moving out, I completed an official walkthrough with staff and was assured my deposit was in the mail. That was a lie. It has now been 90 days, and they have withheld my funds without justification.
Fortunately, I have comprehensive before-and-after photos proving the unit's condition. Because management refuses to uphold their contractual obligations, I have taken the following actions:
Legal Action: Filed a formal lawsuit in court.
Corporate Escalation: Contacted their parent company, Greystar.
Public Awareness: Launched a social media campaign exposing these business practices, which has already garnered over 500 responses from others.
I will exhaust all legal and public channels until my deposit is returned in full. Do not trust this property with your money.
They are in "survival mode" according to office staff. They asked what they could do for me to stay and not move out. They offered me $500 but when I asked them to space that out over the length of the lease they never responded. They are desperate to keep your money.
They have been taken to court for this issue in the past and even after there was a judgment against them the tenant still did not get all of his money. They do not govern themself's according to NRS 211.8

I've always seen these apartments and would driven by them all then time. I finally decided to check it out seeing my lease ends soon and I am looking to move. Upon entrance, I was greeted and welcomed in by Karla, who then was then leasing agent that took me on the tour of the community. Karla is absolutely amazing, and very personal able and friendly. She was able to show me 2 apartments which all of the 1bd apartments are the same but just structured differently. I fell in love with the apartment as well as the community as nit has everything I am looking for in my next place to call home. Karla was very detailed in making sure I had more than enough information as well as the breakdown of all amenities as well as pricing, specials, etc. The overall tour was great, and I can say that I have found the next place to call home within the Glo community.
Love it here. Been here since December 2025. Quiet, no problems. Office staff has been great!

After doing a walk through with the Assistant Manager Lizbeth she told me I would get my full deposit back. After misspelling Horizon they sent me a letter showing I owe $28.69. First off they are charging 85$ for carpet cleaning (it’s only the bedroom that has carpet) after Lizbeth said the carpet is fine. Jenise Aubry the manager charged me an extra 99.51 for December water trash and sewer which she says I owe from when I moved in. I didn’t move in December. After emailing Jenise multiple times explaining her error I got no where. While Jenise Aubry is the manager do not move in here.
