- OTOlivia TempletonJul 22, 20261.0I decided NOT to use this company for a 1031 exchange because I'm not confident that they are upfront with all the necessary information. In the opening marketing email for a 1031 exchange process, there is no mention of THE most important factor: the process must be done BEFORE the closing of the property being sold. Although they knew for more than a month, no mention to me of the urgency. I didn't find out until the day before I was closing on the property and then had to frantically scramble to get. more information. I decided to NOT use this company and went a different direction. BEWARE that they will charge you thousands $$ to take your money and then they will make the interest and profit on your money. I found a better option for me. Good Luck!

They have incredible patience with my neverending questions and are so on top of every detail and respond with lightening speed EVERY TIME. I have done a ton of transactions and have never had a team be so extremely prompt and professional. The difference between First American Exchange and other 1031 intermediaries who never respond is night and day. Once again, I'm just amazed how they are so consistent in their service.
