  You guys are amazing! The fast response to my numerous maintenance requests was unbeliveable! I made the request before leaving to go to work. By the time I got to work all of my requests had been acknowledged and work order numbers assigned. Before I left work to return home ALL of the requests had been attended to and only a couple items required additional attention. Simply amazing. The front office has been amazing since the first day I visited this property and rented my apartment. Well, now I know that high level of service extends to the maintenance crew, too. The maintenance technicians have got it going on here at Citrus Apartments.

  The worst experience. I moved in 06/20/2025 and it was just me and my dog. At the time I had health things and stuff going on working Monday through Friday so me noticing the bugs and knowing that I would have to bomb the place I had them spray I think once or twice. Then in December I went to the office and asked like what’s the deal because this isn’t no ordinary bug issue. Mia stated that the building was old and they recently got a new pest control. She did advise then that yes I would have to pack up all my stuff and they would bomb the place and have to do it again in two weeks. Well obviously if I’m going to pack all my stuff I’m going to leave. It didn’t work with my schedule or having my dog so no I couldn’t do that. I email my notice on 04/18/2026 and go into the office 04/20 stating I will not renew my lease and although it ended on like 06/19 I wanted to leave end of May. I was advised a 1800 fee but I’m like this is a health hazard. Mia and Mayra inspected my place on 05/05. They saw first hand the bugs falling off the top of the pantry door when you open it. She saw the issue. I did not receive confirmation I could move without penalty until 05/27, mind you 05/30 was my requested move out date because 05/31 was a Sunday and the office is closed. I had a new place in mind but they wouldn’t let us do anything cause it showed I was still leasing in the system. So i only had a few days to figure out what I was doing to do. I signed my new lease on 05/30 and had to hustle Saturday and Sunday to have everything out by Monday. I can’t believe it even took that long I had pictures and videos sent showing the roaches. They seen for themselves. It was disgusting. No peace. They would be on the walls , the floors, in the oven ( I had little Caesar’s and put it in the oven and when I went to eat it I opened the box and a bug came from underneath the food on top) , made a hole in the tub by one coming out of it. I stopped cooking. Couldn’t order food and leave it cause they were in the fridge too. It was unfathomable. Even now being in my new place it took a couple weeks to sleep peacefully and not think something’s crawling in the bed. I would never recommend this place. Their attitude toward the ordeal as if I purposely wanted to delay treatment of the bugs. Like it was a minor issue. Like it was affecting my livelihood in multiple ways. And to not understand living alone with a dog working Monday-Friday office hours like be fr. No accommodations no empathy or concern . And no urgency smh. I’m so glad to be done with this place. I’ve been meaning to write this review but I’m pregnant and also started a job 06/01 so it’s been real hectic. But yeah. Good riddance.
