  I have lived here for over 2 years now and I absolutely love it here! The homes are nice and spacious and the grounds are always being taken care of. Work orders are always answered quickly and with the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Radu is always incredibly helpful!

  Oof. Where to begin. Preemptively calling out the terrible “please call us” responses to the poor reviews others have reported, without any change being made. I have been in my apartment for years. I’ve finally had enough. I implore you to look elsewhere for a place to live. Waited until I received my deposit back before posting, to take away the chance of retribution for honesty. 1. The Rate Upon moving in, my rate was in line, if not a touch cheaper than surrounding complexes. Each year, my rate has gone up significantly as services have been taken away. On top of the increasing base rent, each apartment is getting line-itemed for just about every imaginable service, with increasing prices every few months. All of the new move-in rates are cheaper than the renewals we are paying. There is zero price incentive to renew. 2. Maintenance The Pacific Islands team is the saving grace of the complex. Radu is wonderful. They are quick, very friendly, and knowledgeable. You are guaranteed to get a wave driving by and a chat if wanted. The grounds are in very good shape due to them. The 3rd-party contractors Pacific Islands hires are a nightmare. From damaging property during the forced fireplace shutdowns to ungodly hours of repairs, Pacific Islands goes out of their way to hire the worst help. 3. The Staff Downright unpleasant. Upon move-in, the staff was wonderful. Friendly, happy to help, seemingly wanting you to be there. Since move-in, the front office has been wildly unpleasant. From ignoring emails, to cold responses when they are responded to, lack of accountability for breaking things in apartments, rent increases while taking things away; the staff has been terrible in the front office. I would probably renew if it was not for them. 4. The Experience In the years I have been at Pacific Islands, you can be guaranteed that one or both of the pools will be closed due to maintenance that wasn’t kept up (filters, broken chairs, gate, etc). Do not expect a discount on rent. All of the wood fireplaces (a big reason for moving in), were all (in 24 hours notice) sealed and replaced by Amazon plug-ins (no heat, just lights and plastic logs). The mail room has been broken into a number of times and they blame the tenants. Price increases for not just no added service, but also removed amenities. The list goes on and on. To be honest, outside of the awful front office staff, I’m not sure what went wrong. All of the things that people enjoyed have been taken away while being charged a premium. Reviews are going downhill quickly. It simply is not a nice place to be. I am the final person in our four-unit area who is finally leaving and all have had the same experiences. For those still residing at Pacific Islands, please have a look at the current rates for what they are renting apartments for new residents. They once again raised my rent. New applicants were looking at paying nearly $300 less per month for the same unit.

  Jamie came and replaced my disposal not only was he quick and friendly but he noticed an issue with the sinks water pressure and got that fixed too without having to wait or make a new request.

  I have had the pleasure of living in this community for over 3 years now. Customer Service is consist, professional and welcoming. Maintenance is top notched with quick response times. Mandy is an awesome person to work with, she is patient, kind and always greet you with a big smile. Christine is also a pleasure to work with. Overall a great community. It is safe, peaceful and all of the staff does a great job making sure it stays that way.

  Radu is amazing! Our air conditioner just went out with 100+ weather outside and came after hours and provided us with amazing results. He fixed it in a timely manner and was very professional.
