⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaving The Lena has been much harder than I expected. I moved out with a heavy heart only because I needed to shorten my daily commute to the office. If that hadn't been a factor, I would have happily stayed. From day one, the entire leasing team made me feel welcome, but Elena deserves a special mention. She has been incredibly responsive, supportive, patient, and genuinely empathetic throughout my time there. Whether it was answering questions, helping with requests, or simply checking in, she always made me feel like a valued resident rather than just another tenant. That level of care is rare. The community itself is beautifully and tastefully designed. It has a warm, home-like atmosphere that's hard to describe until you experience it. The common spaces are inviting, the surroundings are well maintained, and there's an overall sense of comfort and belonging. The apartments are spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and meticulously designed with both comfort and practicality in mind. Every detail seems to have been considered, making it a wonderful place to come home to after a long day. The location is another huge plus. Pretty much everything you need is within arm's reach—ShopRite, Walmart, Patidar Farmers Market, plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, and other everyday conveniences. It makes day-to-day living incredibly easy. Now, I'm so full of positive things to say about The Lena that this review might start sounding biased! So, in the interest of balance, let me add one "complaint"—the mailroom is a bit on the smaller side. Around Thanksgiving and the holiday season, when everyone's online shopping habit goes into overdrive, it can get a little crazy in there. But honestly, that's about the only downside I could come up with. I genuinely miss living at The Lena and have nothing but wonderful memories of my time there. If you're looking for a community that truly feels like home, backed by a leasing team that genuinely cares, The Lena is an easy five-star recommendation.

I have lived here for a full year now and I am more than happy with the place. The staff are friendly, responsive and attentive. Maintenance is never concern and the amenities are more than adequate. I would recommend to anyone I know. JP

I loved this community when I first moved in. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and the maintenance team and cleaning crew, especially Carlos, does an excellent job keeping everything looking great. Unfortunately, management has created a tense living environment that does not feel like home. Residents receive constant emails, notices, and new rules, often in a passive-aggressive tone. Instead of feeling at home, residents are often made to feel scrutinized and micromanaged. What is most frustrating is that management seems quick to create new restrictions while some ongoing issues remain unresolved. Dog waste is still regularly left around the property and in hallways, visitor parking is often occupied long-term by residents, and vehicles with flat tires or that appear unused can sit for extended periods. While emails are frequently sent reminding residents where they cannot park, the visitor parking situation itself often doesn't seem to improve. The same pattern applies to the amenities. There are only two grills for the entire community, yet residents are limited to short usage windows that don't realistically allow enough time to prepare, cook, and clean. Community spaces have restricted access hours, and areas such as the courtyard close early, making it feel like residents have limited access to amenities that we help pay for through our rent. Rather than addressing individual problem behaviors, management often responds by creating new rules that affect everyone. The result is a community that feels overly controlled and micromanaged instead of welcoming and resident-focused. it often feels like the entire community is being punished because of the actions of a few people. For the amount of rent charged here, plus utilities, I don’t think residents should constantly feel like amenities, conveniences, and freedoms are being reduced. The environment can feel unnecessarily strict and controlling rather than welcoming and community-oriented. I NEVER leave reviews, but after receiving yet another email introducing another rule, I felt compelled to share my experience. Beautiful property, great maintenance staff, but management’s approach has made this a place I would not personally recommend. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if management sends out another email or creates another rule in response to this review. That’s how common the emails and restrictions have become. Residents should be able to share honest feedback without feeling like another punishment or policy change is around the corner. Unfortunately, that is the atmosphere management has created.

Don’t let past reviews fool you as the property was under different management and most poor reviews came in during covid and under old management. My girlfriend and I moved here around 2023 and have been living here since. Management is helpful and friendly; Elena has always been helpful and is also a fellow neighbor. My favorite is maintenance as Carlos has been nothing but outstanding and has always filled out requests very soon after being opened. Rent is extremely reasonable and the apartments are nice. The other tenants are friendly as well. The only downside I will say is that some tenants do not pick up after their own dogs which is extremely disappointing and lazy. Management has done all they can to enforce these rules however these owners have no sense of responsibility. This is really the only “bad” thing I could say about The Lena.
