I lived at Wingate from 2021 to 2026. The neighborhood is/was quiet. Meg Molnar, the Leasing Agent is professional and I do miss that. Work orders or service request for repairs were handled promptly by Chuck, Rudy, Wayne & Doug. The grounds are maintained by Landscapers and if you have a two income household or earn enough to pay for the 1/2 bedrooms, I do recommend. I moved because it was more affordable to live with my daughter in a 2 bedroom, than each of us paying for 1 bedroom.
This place is the worst on planet Earth. I got stuck here for about two years because of work-related requirements . It’s home to all kinds of wildlife, but that’s not the worst part. The management is the worst. They’re licensed thieves. Even if you’re a good tenant and leave them with a clean apartment, they’ll deduct money from your security deposit, claiming it needs two hours of cleaning.
Luckily, after leaving this dump, I moved to a nearby town and was able to find out more about the problem. They showed me some pictures, all of them zoomed six times to show microscopic dust particles. They also provided me with a bill stating that it took them two hours to clean the apartment.
I called them and showed them the pictures I had taken before leaving the apartment. They told me to come see for myself and that I could clean any dust particles that were left. It literally took me four minutes to clean those microscopic dust particles.
But because I caught them red-handed lying, and the manager lady knows how to tell nice dressed lies. She had no change but to issue me refund There were more issues like that, and my three friends were also scammed in a similar way by them.
So, be careful and don’t waste your precious money. Also, the maintenance guy is also a contractor for cleaning, which is why they scam you and then share the dividends among themselves. For verification, you can check other similar reviews complaining about the same issues.
Thanks. .

I have lived at Wingate for almost a year now, and it has been a great experience! Meg in the leasing office is very kind and easy to work with. Head of maintenance, Chuck, as well as the other maintenance people are very friendly and respond to requests quickly. We've had no issues with pests or insects. There is ample parking and I'm never worried about finding a spot. No problems with heating or AC. Snow removal in the winters is very prompt and efficient. Maintenance stays on top of landscaping and keeps the property looking great year-round. Our unit did not have laundry, but the closest laundry room was less than a minute's walk and almost always open. You do have to pay for laundry, but compared to the overall price, it's worth it. My neighbors are quiet and very friendly. The area overall is nice and quiet. Our 1B is extremely spacious and fits 2 desks, 3 dressers, as well as the rest of our furniture. There is not much storage space, but we don't have much so this isn't a problem for us and can fit most of our things in the closets. One thing is there are not overhead lights in our living room and bedroom, but we have lamps connected to the outlets. The kitchen is a great size with lots of cupboards! There is not much to do in the area as far as night life for young people, but that's just Hamilton in general. There are lots of grocery stores, schools, and restaurants nearby. Overall, I highly recommend living at Wingate!
