  A strong word of caution to all renters considering a stay at this location. After spending some years here and speaking with many neighbors, a blatant trend of up charging aggressively after 1 year of stay is incredibly clear. Following your first year, and all subsequent years, the lease renewal offers will creep up by criminal percentages. Going into our third renewal, our offers now exceed the price of a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom renovated unit for our ONE BEDROOM ONE BATHROOM SMALLER SIZE UNIT. Attempts to reach out to regional managers have resulted in consistent avoidance from regional managers for MONTHS. There continues to be no communication for rent negotiation, and no clear communication why loyal tenants of years would be charged more for a 1/1 unit than a new tenant would pay for a 2/2 renovated unit with more square footage. In addition to this, as rents increase the quality and availability of amenities has plummeted. Each summer access to the pool is decreased more and more as management refuses to hire lifeguards for a chunk of the summer. The dog park is simply a pit of sharp gravel with a broken fence that has been haphazardly patched with plywood for months after a storm damaged it. Multiple service people have been let go, forcing the service crew to work with limited staff and making wait times and availability longer for residents. Trash compactor access has gone down multiple times this year, requiring unhygienic and unseemly overflow trash disposal. Simply put, Eagle Rock is a pretty coat of paint on top of a crumbling foundation. As a renter that has moved across many locations both in-state and out of state for job relocation and education, I HIGHLY caution any and all considering renters to stay away from this community.

  I honestly don’t know where to start… Eagle Rocks was my transitional rental, I leased for a year and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to be …. From property management, to maintenance, to the amazing neighbors I had…. I was going through a lot of changes last year and through it all with all of the positive energy , help and love they have made this transition in my life a breath of fresh air ! I loved working with Teresa and Christine from Management, they have helped me tremendously to make this temporary living experience as easy and as joyful as possible…. I will never forget my time at Eagle Rock and the amount of impact the neighbors and staff left on me….. i will always recommend Eagle Rock at Freehold NJ ♥️

  Living here has truly been such a blessing for me. The community is wonderful, but what makes it feel like home is the staff. Everyone from the office to maintenance, is always so helpful, kind and ready to go above and beyond. I appreciate every single one of them! But I have to give a special shout‑out to Teresa! She is absolutely amazing, caring, beautiful inside and out and genuinely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold and has helped me out so much when I needed it the most. I truly appreciate her more than words can say. I am so grateful to live in a place where the people make all the difference. 💛

  Teresa is one of a kind. She always greets us with such genuine kindness, remembers everything we’ve previously discussed, and is just as sweet to our dogs as she is to us. Anytime we have a question or need help, she’s incredibly responsive, provides fast solutions, and communicates clearly so we know what to expect regarding next steps. She keeps the office organized, makes every interaction easy, and consistently goes above and beyond.
