  I have lived at Eastgate for almost 6 years and it’s a lovely, quiet, affordable place to live especially if you need to be commuting to the Princeton area. The rent increases yearly have been low and the one bedrooms are spacious with great storage space (and some have in unit laundry).The sound insulation is incredible we almost never hear our neighbors and I work from home full time. Having your own entrance and balcony (for buildings 10-14) is really nice. As other reviews mentioned, communication around the pool is consistently unclear but the pool itself is large, clean, kept at a good temp, and never super crowded (I have really enjoyed using it). The landscaping around the property is beautiful and well maintained. The parking lots have large spaces and there is always parking available. In winter, they do an amazing job clearing snow from the parking lots and walkways. The maintenance team is wonderful, despite living in an older unit, we have had very few issues and the issues that did occur (new AC/AC repair, new stove ignition) were resolved quickly by the team. The location is right across the street from Moody park and is within walking distance to a grocery store and a short drive to a gym, the Trenton Farmers Market, and an amazing ice cream store (Halo Farm). We will miss living here and are only leaving because we have to move out of state!

  I am so stressed and unhappy living here. I’m paying over $1600 a month to constantly deal with plumbing problems and people who slack on helping when problems arise. I’ve had sewage backed up into my apartment multiple times, the smell of sewage coming through the vents from an open pipe, now I have a drain fly infestation that is not being addressed after 2 phone calls and an email. I’m killing dozens of bugs a day. I can’t even get a call back for any information about a fix. I’ve waited a week and nobody has even bothered to come here to see what the problem is. My neighbor is having the same issue and nobody has contacted her or been to her apartment either. Ownership needs to do a better job with how issues like this are handled. Now my neighbor and I are stuck dealing with it ourselves. Getting help or even some communication is a task. All these problems have cost me money and vacation time from having to take off from work and I can’t even be at peace for all the money I have to pay to live here

  I give a 4.5 star. I absolutely love living here. I have all new appliances, the place is very quiet, private and serene. Good parking. Very spacious with plenty of close spaces, beautiful hardwood floors, courteous neighbors. I am only moving because of recent marriage and transitioning to my husband's home. Maintenance responds promptly, the grounds are kept nice, pool is good and a nice park directly across the street. I love Eastgate and am grateful they gave me the opportunity to call this home🩷

  It is alright but I have a couple of problems. 1. The apartments have dust in the corners. 2. Some things were broken when we moved in. 3. Sometimes I have to go to another apartment complex to park because there are no spots left. It is still quite spacious and I think if they had more time the apartment would have been cleaner. They have a pool as well.
