  I have lived at Swivel for just coming up on a week and have only positive things to say. It's best to come in person and take a tour to see if the building is right for you.

  Me and my partner moved here for a year from May 2025-April 2026 and it was one of the worst living experiences. We lived in the captain floor plan for $1,113/month but ended up paying almost $1500 a month due to all the various charges from pet rent to garage and utilities. The unit was on the side of the building that faces the dodge/72nd intersection and you are able to hear every single car that drives by at all times of day, plus the large number of sirens that come through the area. There are often protests from people with megaphones going well into the evening. For the entire summer there was also a school raising money banging their drums from 8am to 8pm every Sunday. There is also a large homeless population in the area begging for money, some even getting aggressive if you don’t give them any. One of the employees that works at the Panda Express right next door would also sing as loud as she could around 11pm behind the petco. Good luck sleeping without blackout curtains because the lights never turn off and it’s like the middle of day all day. The walls and floors are so thin you can hear every tiny movement, from your neighbors microwave to your upstairs neighbor just walking around. Every door is heavy so whenever someone comes home you hear it slam. They advertise hardwood floors but when we moved in we had polished concrete that was cracked in multiple places which isn’t very “luxury”. The ac isn’t centralized, it’s a glorified window unit like a hotel that would never turn off because the air didn’t circulate. Each unit didn’t have a water heater so it could take 5+ minutes for the tap water to heat up, and the bathroom sink never got warm. All units also have a tiny window under the main window, that is impossible to find a curtain for, that allows everyone to see into your apartment from the street. The fire alarm is the most sensitive thing in the world, a tiny bit of smoke from cooking was enough to set off the in-unit one that, after 60 seconds, sets off the whole building. There is only one elevator that moves incredibly slow, so it’s never on the 1st floor or lower level parking garage. The elevator also never had ac so during the summer it was incredibly hot in there. And if someone ever hit their vape on the elevator you could smell it for hours. People also constantly left footprints on the elevator door which is disgusting. The lower level garage where I was assigned a parking spot was poorly taken care of, and people would go down there to smoke. The door had a pile of cigarette butts next to it. The doors fob scanner also didn’t work for half of our stay time and was just unlocked. The parking spots were smaller than the first floor garage as well. If there was a snowstorm, they wouldn’t salt the ramp down until the morning after, if even, and your car would be trapped. One of the windows on the garage door stayed broken for months and was easily big enough for someone to climb through. The garage door is also surrounded by trash from the apartments next door. Don’t trust any of the reviews that were posted around late 2025 as the property manager hosted a contest for residents to get a discount month of rent if they posted a good review. The “clubhouse” is a few chairs and a mini shuffleboard game on a table that isn’t level so the pieces just slide off anyway. The gym has massive windows so anyone from the street can look in. The “bbq deck” was a tiny patio off the second floor with barely space for a grill that you have to provide. The front door fob scanner never worked and we had to type our pin in on a tiny little keypad that anyone could just copy. Multiple non-residents were let in by other residents as well, and if you didn’t let them in, they’d push pas you when you left, like DoorDash drivers. Other residents also let their pets use the bathroom in the stairs so they always smelled of dog pee. Maintenance from William was amazing, every issue was solved within a day from a broken washer to a sink that couldn’t be plugged.

  If you are moving here just know having people over night is impossible, there are a collective 6 spots put front for residents or you will be towed either from the petco or even from the swivel spots no one is using. They expect you to park two blocka away in a neighborhood if there is no parking. Absolutely know this before moving in the parking situation is atrocious

  This place is so ridiculous. First of all the rent is very expensive. Second the constant ‘garage repairs’ where several of us residents won’t even have a place to park for an entire week every few months is so frustrating. The parking here is so limited and you can’t even park across the street because your car will literally get towed. They will send you a notice ‘we are repairing the garage. Find somewhere to park for five days’ which is insane. it’s not even like once in a while, it is several times a year and all of us have to find somewhere to park after paying $100 extra to have a place to park in the garage. The staff events are a joke. They purposely choose times when people at work so you can’t even go to a lot of the community events. The front desk person here is absolutely unprofessional and never answers the phone. And we are kind of close to like really bad neighborhood so there’s tons of crime like people breaking into the garage and stealing things from your car. Seriously do not even think about wasting your time here. ***Updating to respond to owner*** You guys are so pathetic trying to convince people to leave five star ratings to get a free rent credit. Which by the way, the garage “credit” for an entire week of not being able to park at our residence is less than 10 dollars for the ENTIRE WEEK, pathetic. You guys have been constantly doing garage repairs for the past 2+ years every few months. Why is it taking you guys 6+ garage repairs to finally be in compliance and care about our safety? That’s insane especially for the crazy rent prices. Why is it that we have to leave a message every time you need to get something addressed? Very unprofessional staff, if your job is assist your residents actually do it. “We strive to remain competitive with comparable communities,” yet at your ‘comparative’ community, several people daily have their belongings stolen, packages missing, and cars broken into. The lack of accountability reflects the management of this company. As well as the sheer inadequacy of having to use ChatGPT to respond to valid complaints. Do not give your money to these people. This management company and the staff is below par. A full month later and I am vindicated. Guess who got YET another notification we do not have access to the garage for MORE REPAIRS? Oh you guessed, THIS PLACE. It’s so ridiculous and the six parking spots they only have? Christ this place is a joke do not rent from this horrible place.

  It has been a great 3 years living in Swivel. I moved here in June 2022. At first I was intimidated by how fancy the apartment complex was. It has a sky lounge, a little convenience store on the 5th floor, lobby, underground parking, an elevator, dog park and a gym. I was kinda worried about the price but surprisingly the Rent was affordable. My friend was living in Centerline which is a sister company of swivel and she convinced me to get my own place. She definitely recommended Swivel. I have no regrets since. I am speaking favorably to Swivel because of a lot of factors. Firstly, Swivel location is shouting Convenience. If you are the type of person like me, who does not really cook much, lives alone, and does not like driving, don't worry, Swivel is a neighbor to Panda Express, Jinya Ramen, Raising Canes, Target, Chipotle, and Megasaver. All you have to do is choose and choose wisely. If you have PETS, Petco is nearby. If you need office supply, Office max is closer as well. If you are sick, Urgent care is located at the right side of the Swivel Building. If you need insurance, State Farm is located on the 1st floor of the building. If you need a hospital, Methodist, Med center, and CHI Bergan Mercy are 5-10 mins away from the apartment. What a catch right? Secondly, Bill - the Maintenance Guy is like "THE FLASH". He responded promptly with a request and was a very respectful guy. He understands Tenant's privacy. He is a very handy man. I can only say good words about him. Third, Rachel - the Building Manager is very approachable and very helpful with concerns and inquiries. She is a little ball sunshine and you will just love talking to her. She organized and planned some activities where the tenants can socialize and chat. She is building a community which I think is marvelous. Lastly, the community is very calm and safe. Most of the tenants are professional doctors, nurses, students and employees. I can say in my experience that the community is respectful to each other and very mindful of their surroundings. The Swivel owner as well is an advocate for safety. The building is designed for tenants to feel safe. You can not get into the building if you dont belong there. Mails and delivery have their own door and codes to follow as well. The security of the doors and garages is top notch. Overall, Swivel is 100 percent recommended by me. Thank you.
