  If you do plan to live here, don't get a ground floor apartment. Ours was infested with brown recluse spiders and I got bit the first week I moved in. It required a trip to the doctor where I had to get a tetanus booster, a steroid cream for the bite, and I was given three different kinds of pills to take, and after all that I still felt nauseous from the bite for nearly two weeks afterward. From then on we were constantly spraying for these spiders for the entire duration of the lease. The buildings are showing their age. Maintenance is hit or miss and appliances are constantly breaking or don't work very well. When our dryer broke it took them a week to fix it and I had to practically beg to get someone out there. Then there was the great flood. Old, rusted out plumbing in the building resulted in our kitchen/laundry area being flooded more than once with gross yellow water. The first time it happened, maintenance left a de-humidifier in our apartment but the second time they didn't bother, so I can only imagine what kind of lovely mold is growing under that floor. Tried explaining to one of the maintenance staff who was there for the second flooding that I didn't think the water was coming from our apartment (which it wasn't) and he acted like I was too stupid to understand that a washing machine can overflow. Well, I was right and our washing machine wasn't the problem. And I haven't even mentioned the time the plumbing backed up and caused the kitchen sink and washing machine to fill up with brown, stinky water for us and the rest of the building over Christmas. The parking areas are filled with ruts and potholes and need serious attention. The garages are fine, they're just too small for the price. The lock on the door to our building was broken more often than not, and the buildings smell musty and old. The best part about living here was the location, and that's about it.

  These apartments look nice, but if you’re a young adult with more than one roommate, don’t even bother. We showed up for a tour and promptly left after being told only 2 adults are allowed per lease. It’s a nonsense rule and all it does is discriminate against young people fresh out of college or fresh into the workforce. Wages are low and stagnant and cost of living is rising. We’re not sure why you’d have a rule against three people making sure they have enough income to always afford rent and food, all in a safe and clean neighborhood. Further, we were looking at a two bedroom apartment. Why would a couple, who is fresh out of college and not planning to have kids soon, look into a two bedroom apartment, if not to have a roommate to make living more affordable. This should really be advertised front and center on the website, or be mentioned immediately upon first contact. We spent the time and gas to come out there. Neither of which are easy to come by these days.
