  Really enjoy living here. Maintenance shows up fast, nice bar across the parking lot and none of my neighbors have tried to start a band. That’s a win in my book.

  I lived at 29South for a year, and while the property itself looks great and my apartment was well-maintained throughout my lease, my overall experience ended on a very disappointing note. I took excellent care of my unit—cleaned regularly and even cleaned the carpets before moving out. Despite that, I was still charged $150 from my security deposit for carpet cleaning. I strongly believe the apartment was left in better condition than when I moved in, and it feels like an automatic charge rather than a fair assessment. I reached out for clarification and was promised a return call, but instead received a cold, generic email and no follow-up. Over twelve months, I paid rent on time, had no issues, and respected the property. It’s disheartening that once I gave notice, communication from management completely dropped off. I had once recommended 29South to friends, but I can’t do so anymore in good conscience. Beyond the deposit issue, there are other drawbacks that became harder to ignore over time: The pool has been closed for over a year, despite repeated promises that it would open. Parking is a constant hassle—both above and underground. Residents frequently parked in my assigned spot, and I had to contact management multiple times to resolve it. Traffic around the strip mall is poorly monitored, and speeding drivers often make it feel unsafe. The gym is underwhelming, and a few machines felt unsafe due to poor installation. That said, I want to be fair: Maintenance was responsive and helpful every time I submitted a request which only happened once or twice throughout the year and they were for very minor things. The location is excellent, and I did genuinely love my apartment itself. But unfortunately, none of that outweighs how poorly things were handled when I moved out. At the end of the day, it feels like tenants are just a number to the management team, and that their main priority is maximizing profits—not fostering long-term, respectful relationships with residents. There are better-managed communities out there. I wish things had ended differently, because I really did love living in the space.

  I’ve really enjoyed living here—the location is perfect: quiet, yet close to everything. Management is top-notch and always responsive. They even made my pet the August Pet of the Month, which was fun. I’ve already referred several friends—highly recommend!

  Management is caring and helpful, maintenance requests went above and beyond my expectation. The property is well kept, clean, and full of friendly neighbors. Wonderful place to live for young adults, young families, and older adults. Location is outstanding. Can't recommend highly enough.

  The staff is so nice! If there are any maintenance issues, they get addressed quickly and at your convenience. The complex is also in a fantastic area of town.
