I have enjoyed living at Pine at Wildroot overall. The apartments themselves are beautiful, the community is well maintained, and the amenities are a big part of what attracted me here. For the most part, it's been a positive experience.
That said, for a community marketed as "luxury," I've noticed several quality issues that I wouldn't have expected. The paint on the walls is extremely soft—even something as simple as a fingernail can leave a noticeable mark. If you live on the ground floor, the sprinkler system sprays onto portions of the patio, which means outdoor furniture regularly gets soaked.
There are also a few construction and installation issues that make the apartments feel like they were finished a little too quickly. The bedroom light switches are wired together, so if both bedroom lights are on, someone in the other room can accidentally turn your light off. I've found gaps in the flooring, corners and seams that weren't fully sealed, and in the master bathroom there was still a piece of plastic left in the bathtub drain assembly that caused an incredibly loud clicking noise every time the tub drained. The towel rack also came off the wall shortly after moving in. I ended up fixing it myself because I prefer not to have maintenance in my apartment unless it's truly necessary. These are the kinds of details I would have expected to be caught during a final inspection, especially in a luxury apartment community.
The only other disappointment has been the amenity areas. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are often occupied by the same group of people for long periods, making them difficult for other residents to enjoy. Unfortunately, I've also noticed cigarette butts and trash being left behind. As a parent, it's discouraging because I'd love to be able to bring my baby there to enjoy the pool and eventually learn to swim in a clean environment.
Overall, I do like living here, and I don't regret choosing Pine at Wildroot. I simply hope management continues focusing on quality control during construction and encourages better care of the shared amenities so they reflect the luxury experience the community promises.

The views and amenities are really unmatched to anything in Missoula but you will pay for them. I was surprised to learn that trash, sewer, power for all common areas, and many other things were charged monthly for an extra 159 a month. This is something to consider. Ths staff is amazingly friendly and Gail treats everyone like family. The only reason I rated them at a three is because of a few things. One was that maintenance can be a bit slow. Our air conditioner filter needed to be replaced and we never got one. Also the condenser was shutting off twice while we lived there. In 8 months. Second, the parking is tight and spots are at a premium. Many times my husband had to park on the street. Third, they removed our remote control fan because there was another apartment that could control our master room light/fan. Instead of figuring out the remote frequency, one of our 'luxury items' was removed.

Easily the highest-tier apartment community in Missoula. The property is clean, well-maintained, and supported by a fantastic staff that is always willing to assist with questions or resident needs.
The community is incredibly welcoming. On my very first day moving in, a couple of neighbors offered to help carry some of my belongings up to my apartment. That small act said a lot about the people who live here and the atmosphere that Pine at Wildroot has created.
The property, staff, and residents all take pride in maintaining a high standard of quality, appearance, and respect for one another. It’s clear that fostering a strong sense of community is a priority here. If you’re looking for an apartment in Missoula that combines excellent amenities, professional management, and genuinely friendly neighbors, Pine at Wildroot is hard to beat.

I am very pleased living at Pine at Wildroot. I enjoy the amenities very much. A great value for the money. This is my second apartment in two years. My husband died suddenly last year, so I put my house up for sale. I moved into another complex, which was great, except it was too noisy. My house finally sold, now I am enjoying the quiet and serenity here at Pine with my faithful dog.
