- VCvibhor chaudharyAug 11, 20262.0I’m in my third year at this property, and unfortunately there seems to be very little benefit to being a long-term resident or renewing early. My rent is now around $1,600, utility charges have increased, and there is now an additional $30 monthly community operations fee. What is most disappointing is that new residents appear to be getting better leasing rates than existing residents who have stayed for years. Loyal residents should ideally should receive at some meaningful renewal benefit, rather than seeing their overall monthly cost continue to increase.

The community is well-maintained, the staff is friendly and responsive, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly. The apartments are updated and comfortable, and the location is convenient to everything in Starkville. I would definitely recommend Avalon to anyone looking for a great place to live!
- ACAvery CameronJun 22, 20263.0As time goes on living at Avalon, I have mixed thoughts for a review. Ivy is great to work with and very responsive. She’s very communicative and helpful! As is her office staff. I have multiple issues with the maintenance - the quality of work they do, the timeliness in which they respond to things and the process to get things done. The amenities at Avalon are great, I feel very safe, and never have any issues with neighbors. Truly my main complaint is the maintenance team and how things are handled when it comes to them. I agree with others that there is nothing wrong with these apartments but I do believe there are things that need improvement.
