I love living here. The only drawback is the trash. Compactor gets too full.

Does anybody else think that the way that the Reserve has our monthly payment set up is the craziest thing in the world!!! You cannot use auto pay because each month the amount is different and for no valid reason. The front offices’ answer to this is quote “Just add $100 to your monthly rent and that should cover it” Really LOL that’s $1200 a year so who gets the extra funds? And in a Complex that the compactor is broken, or the water get shut off and then LOL we are a secured gated community!!! Unless you want to just walk around through the open gate on each side. And let’s not discuss the lack of getting anything fixed when you send in a service request!!! Still haven’t fixed my AC and my electric bill proves it’s not fix!!! Oh, and it’s always fun calling the police monthly due to the riots at the pool. But OMG do not let your dog poop without picking it up unless he/she covers it up like the 100 cats that roam the complex. So ya paying rent here is difficult!!! Ac has been messed up since moving in and their duct tape methods of fixing this issue have failed time after time. Having a $300 power bill for this small apartment due to the AC not working correctly has become ridiculous and unacceptable. Bath tub that sounds like it’s going to fall through the floor, again they can’t fix it and said there’s nothing they can do. Ac vent in main bedroom blows like crazy while it barely blows in any of the other areas of the apartment, again they refuse to fix these issues. All these fees for keeping things working at the complex yet nothing ever is working correctly so whose pocketing all these extra fees yall keep charging us???. This place has been a nightmare since moving in. I think the next step is legal actions to get out of this horrible place and lease. Sincerely current resident J Ehlenbach

I have never left a negative review, but prospective tenants deserve to know what my experience has been. I am a current resident and have lived here over two years. Living here has been incredibly disappointing because the problems haven’t just been maintenance-related—they’ve involved basic quality of life and safety concerns.
For the first two years , my apartment was repeatedly filled with the smell of cannabis from the downstairs unit. No one should have to come home to an apartment that smells like weed. I reported the issue, but it continued until the residents moved out.
I also reported suspected drug activity and witnessed domestic violence involving another neighboring apartment and even provided videos documenting what I observed. Despite taking the time to report my concerns, I have not seen any response or resolution.
Last year, my air conditioning malfunctioned for an extended period, during the hottest summer months, and I repeatedly requested repairs while dealing with an apartment that wouldn’t cool properly. Because the system was constantly running, my electric bills became extremely expensive. I was left to absorb those costs while waiting for the issue to be addressed. When maintenance did come to fix it, it was completed poorly and remains an issue of not cooling properly.
Communication from the office has been one of the biggest frustrations. Emails and phone calls of concerns have gone unanswered or unresolved, and I’ve often felt like once a problem is reported, it’s easier to ignore it than fix it.
Even now, I have an ongoing dispute with management, and despite multiple attempts to communicate, I have received no response. Being ignored when you’re trying to resolve legitimate concerns has been just as frustrating as the problems themselves.
Renting an apartment is about more than having a roof over your head. It should be a place where you feel safe, respected, and confident that management will address serious concerns. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
If you’re considering moving here, I strongly encourage you to read recent reviews carefully, ask questions, and consider whether this is the level of management and responsiveness you’re willing to accept.

I moved out of Reserve at Park Place after living there for almost two years. When I moved out, I paid all required fees and confirmed that my account balance was $0.
About two months later, I applied for a new apartment because I needed to move back to Hattiesburg. During that process, I was told that I still owed $38 to Reserve at Park Place, and that the payment could only be made by cashier’s check. Before this, I had not received any notice, email, mail, or phone call about this balance.
Since I was not in Hattiesburg at the time, I had to ask a friend to go to the office and drop off the payment for me. However, when my friend arrived, she was told that the $38 balance had already been sent to ProCollect and that I would need to call them to make the payment. Because of this, I was unable to move forward with my new apartment application at The Met Apartment.
This situation has been extremely frustrating and confusing. I do not understand why I was not notified about the balance earlier, especially after I had confirmed a $0 balance when I moved out.
