  If I could give this place the appropriate score it would be a 0. We paid a huge down-payment and ordered our house. I called at least 5 times over the next 2 months trying to get some details and they told Me it was ordered everytime. They flat out lied. They had a brand new mobile home exaclty what we ordered, but they refused to give us that new home and forced us to get the one off the lot that was the model which was a few years older. At this point, we had no more money to be able to wait for the house that was promised to us. We expressed to them how important it was everytime we spoke to have it before our baby got here and they didn't care. Not only that, but we expressed to them several times that the roof was not done in the middle even sending them photos and they drug it out until 6 months later saying it was completed. Yet again, they told us it had been completed. We moved in and it was still not complete. It was a struggle to get anyone out in the first place and it STILL didn't get finished. I don't understand how they have a 4* review when there has been so much negativity going on about them. Since they still didn't fix the roof and it was a pain to get them out to our house We decided to wait out the last few months just to not have to deal with them. They said We'd have to go through the warranty after a year. All to find out it's an insurance type warranty and still the problem has not been fixed and now we've had so much leakage it's caused mold in our roof and ceiling. To add to everything everything was put together so poorly. All of our light switches have come out and don't fit properly so they keep falling into the wall. I could go on with all the problems, but thet would take forever. Please don't waste Your time or money on clayton homes. None of my family or friend will ever by a home from them due to hearing about all of our struggles. Sure the staff was nice, but not reliable in the slightest.

  Went on a Saturday in the summer. The staff literally pointed us in a direction of where to look. Never came out the office to help. Several of us couples had to help each other while the lazy staff sit under the air. Unprofessional!
