  It pains me to write this review because I genuinely had high hopes for this property. Unfortunately, after nine months of living here, my experience has become increasingly frustrating. Looking back, I probably should have been concerned from the beginning. When I initially toured the property, the elevators weren’t working. In the nine months I’ve lived here, I can’t recall a time when both elevators were consistently operational for any meaningful length of time. At least one seems to always be out of service, and today, September 12, 2026, marks the second time I’ve experienced both elevators being down at the same time. For residents, this is more than a minor inconvenience—it’s unacceptable. The condition of the lobby is another ongoing issue. As another reviewer mentioned, the smell in the lobby can be absolutely disgusting and certainly isn’t what anyone should expect from a property they’re paying to call home. I actually feel bad for Mason and the rest of the on-site staff. From my perspective, they are doing their best to execute what is passed down to them. My frustration is ultimately with the ownership and upper-level leadership responsible for maintaining and managing this property.

  Duuuude the elevators never work. Always closed for “scheduled maintenance” that never happens. Happens at least once every couple months for SEVERAL days. The dog park, if you can call it that, is a 10x20ft area of turf right next to the dumpster. The fence has been broken for months with no attempts at fixing it. Also, the lobby constantly smells disgusting. If you’re looking here for the elevator and dog park: RUN.

  I’ve been a resident of Hibernia Apartments for seven years and it’s gone down hill since the property manager hired a gentleman named Mason. His arrogance and attitude is terrible, as soon as you sign your lease, he turns into the gestapo.

  Heating and cooling is an ongoing issue that the can continues to be kicked down the road on. For $2k+ rent, residents should not be expected “to just deal with it” as I’ve been told.
