  I wanted to share our experience because, honestly, we were a little hesitant about moving to The Era Collective after reading some of the negative reviews saying that the front desk wasn’t helpful or that there was no maintenance. We decided to give the community a chance anyway, and I’m really glad we did. Our experience has honestly been very different. There are several people working at the front desk, and everyone we’ve interacted with has been friendly and helpful. I especially want to give a shout-out to Kayla and Hannah, who have stood out to us in particular. They have both been incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and helpful. Whenever we have a question or concern, they listen and do their best to help. They genuinely make us feel heard and comfortable, and we really appreciate the way they treat the residents. We’ve also seen that the community is actively investing in the property. From what we understand, around $30 million has been invested into The Era Collective, and it’s clear that there is ongoing work and effort to maintain and improve the community. Of course, living in historic buildings means that occasional maintenance issues are going to happen. That’s simply part of living in a historic property. What matters to us is how management responds when something comes up. In our experience, they have been responsible, responsive, and willing to work with residents to find solutions. Another thing I really like about The Era Collective is the variety. There are three historic buildings with so much character, as well as a newer, modern building built in 2014. So you really have options within the same community — whether you love historic charm or prefer something more modern. I also really appreciate the effort they put into creating a sense of community. Recently, they’ve been hosting wine gatherings where residents can meet and get to know one another. My wife has already gotten to know several lovely neighbors through these events, and it has made the community feel much more welcoming and connected. Everyone can have a different experience, and I would never want to dismiss someone else’s. I just wanted to share ours because the negative reviews initially made us nervous about moving here. After giving The Era Collective a chance, our experience has been much more positive than we expected.I also want to point out that the new management has been very different from what some of the older reviews may describe. Based on our experience, the current team has been much more responsive, attentive, and focused on creating a positive experience for residents. We’re genuinely happy that we decided to give this place a chance.

  Hannah Henderson was so knowledgeable and professional as a Leasing Consultant! She spent hours making certain all of our needs were met. Thank you Hannah! We came together again to complete the process of renting an apartment for our sister! Hannah Henderson is truly exceptional! My sisters and I have now and will continue to refer individuals to Era Collections and to ask for Hannah! Great job!

  I just moved in the annex building and so far I am not impressed. I had to change units a few days before move in due to lack of A/C in the original unit. (Which was not an issue for me) I was told my unit would be professionally cleaned and inspected prior to my move in date. When I arrived, the unit was very obviously not cleaned, there was broken glass all over my balcony, and my toilet stopped working after just a few uses. I talked to the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. When I should have been moving furniture and settling into my new home, I instead had to spend an entire day cleaning the apartment that should have already been ready for me. I filled an entire garbage bag full of dirty cleaning pads and paper towels. In the two days that I have been here, I have also had to submit two maintenance tickets, both of which have gone unanswered. The staff is very friendly and I wish this experience had gone much smoother, but I am extremely disappointed. If I could go back, I would have definitely signed a lease elsewhere.
