Beautiful! I would still live there had I not relocated! I absolutely loved it!! Hotel style and so many amenities and the pool is gorgeous! Quiet and mature community close to WashU. Area is safe with several security cameras, secure building, never a problem with receiving packages. The managers are present and very friendly, maintenance is responsive, I only had couple requests, nothing significant, this building is new. Please don’t read into any negative reviews here, there was a tornado last year and given the damage to the building, the management did the best they could, I think the majority would agree. I felt like I was on vacation living here, I will have a hard time in my new town finding something comparable :(
I have lived at the Expo just under a year, and we will be renewing our lease. My partner and I have loved our experience living here. The amenities have been wonderful, and the location right across from the metro and Forest Park can't be beat. You're also 10-15 minutes from everything the city has to offer.
But what stands out as the reason I'll recommend this building wholeheartedly is that everyone I've met who lives here has been extremely respectful and kind. And that includes the current management and maintenance staff! I see everyone who works here all the time, and they are not only helpful and responsive but also just lovely to talk to. I appreciate all the hard work they put in to keep this community running smoothly.
Couldn't recommend living at The Expo more! I also have two dogs, and it's a very dog-friendly location and building.

Updated 4/16 (past legal deadline):
1. No proof of mailing provided — Despite 5 requests asking when and how the check was sent, management provided zero evidence of mailing. They claimed that a check’s date stamp constitutes proof of mailing, but issuing a check and physically mailing it are two entirely different actions. If the check was truly sent, there is no reason they cannot provide a date, method, or receipt.
2. $350 deep cleaning charge — This fee was applied based on the photos attached below, which clearly show normal wear and tear conditions.
3. On Google Reviews, management responded asking me to contact them directly — yet my 4th direct email requesting proof of mailing was ignored, while they chose to respond

Missouri law requires landlords to return the deposit within 30 days of move-out. But…Expo team couldn’t even manage that. Instead, after 4 weeks of completely ignoring my calls and emails, they now have the audacity to ask me to wait “another 30 days”.
I moved out on March 16th and received zero communication despite multiple calls and emails on my end. Yet somehow, calls from an unfamiliar number went through just fine.
When I finally got a response via email, all I received was a vague ‘in transit’ reply with no tracking number, no amount sent, and no itemized statement of deductions.
Their reviews say ‘call us if there’s an issue,’ but every call I made was immediately dumped to an automated agent saying no one was available.
Zero documentation, zero tracking, zero accountability.
I recently complimented the new management team to my friends who was thinking moving to Expo because the new team seemed much happier and friendlier than the previous one. Unfortunately, within 10 minutes of leaving that compliment, I received an email saying my rent had not been paid and that I could be at risk of being kicked out.
I have autopay set up in their portal using my bank account. Apparently the payments had been rejected by the bank several times, but the portal never clearly showed that the autopay had failed until today. I only received a notice on the 6th saying the rent wasn’t paid, without any explanation that the autopay had been rejected. I assumed it might be related to the new management or a change in the portal, so I manually clicked “pay” using the same bank account I always use for autopay. Since the system still showed my autopay setup, and I got an email saying successful payment, I had no reason to believe there was an issue.
Today, as soon as I realized there might be a problem, I paid again through the same account and received a successful payment confirmation. However, when I called the office to explain the situation and ask about cancelling the late fee as it’s the system issue, the staff member who answered was surprisingly rude and dismissive. She also made other assumptions about my account without checking the details first (for example, assuming I was lying about referral credit).
I ended up paying again using a card linked to the same bank account, which went through instantly and the money was deducted right away. This makes me question whether there is an issue with the autopay platform.
Tenants should receive clearer notifications when autopay fails so they can fix the issue promptly. Charging late fees due to unclear system errors does not seem fair. Simply saying “it’s in the lease” is not a helpful response when tenants are trying to understand or resolve a system issue.
I have been living here for 3 years consecutively and the management team has changed multiple times ever since. The first manger was good and the second one which is the current one is the worst ever, a rude and unprofessional one that doesn’t know how to serve customers. She would speak to me loudly when I was on a phone call (her colleague reminded her and she replied “I know”). One of the other two staff is also unprofessional barely knowing anything to solve the problems. I have to figure everything out and teach her. She spent most time in the office looking busy but given the quality of services provided I had many question marks in my head. Anyway, avoid this place. Avoid 2B overall as this property management company allows this to happen and allows the service to keep dropping. I was considering live in a 2B property if I moved one day (a lot credits to the previous staff Harley and Victoria) and now find this thought to be idiotic and stupid.
