I have to give a huge shoutout to the leasing office team here — Tiffany, Angela, and the entire front office staff went above and beyond today by hosting a car wash event for residents from 3–6 PM. As someone with a busy 9-to-5, washing my car is one of those tasks that keeps getting pushed to the back burner. Today they took care of it for me, and they were incredibly thorough and took their time with every single car. I was genuinely impressed.
Beyond today's event, I also learned that we have an on-site car wash station as a building perk — fully stocked and available whenever we need it. No need to leave the complex at all. That kind of convenience is a game-changer.
The leasing team has consistently been responsive and attentive whenever I've had questions, and today's event also gave me a great chance to meet neighbors I hadn't crossed paths with before. This is the kind of community-building effort that makes a real difference. Thank you for going the extra mile — it doesn't go unnoticed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Angela at The Laurel was absolutely wonderful during a very stressful time for us. We were in the process of selling our house and had anticipated purchasing a condo, but at the last minute learned the HOA was not in good standing. We suddenly needed to find an apartment quickly so our sale could move forward. After looking all around the city of St. Louis, our final stop was The Laurel, and from the moment Angela met us on a Saturday afternoon to show us a couple of floor plans, we knew we had found exactly what we needed.
Angela did an outstanding job throughout the process. She was kind, compassionate, responsive, and incredibly professional. She made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel manageable, and she was there every step of the way as we quickly navigated signing a lease and preparing to move. Tiffany, Angela’s manager, also stepped in from time to time and was very helpful whenever needed, which only added to our positive experience.
Every question was answered in a timely manner, every call was returned, and at no point did we feel anything less than cared for. The quality of the community was fantastic, but what truly stood out was the level of service and support we received. If this experience is a reflection of what life at The Laurel is like, we are incredibly grateful that we chose it. We look forward to meeting our neighbors and want to sincerely thank Angela and Tiffany for their expertise, professionalism, and willingness to help.
Mere Assisted Me Moving In & I’m Now Moving Out. I Enjoyed My Time Here. They Have Great Resident Events & Keep The Building Up Very Well. Highly Recommend. I’ll Miss Mere The Most So Sweet & Helpful .

As a resident Whois very unproblematic and AVOIDS the office and people in general.. The only reason I am giving the laurel three stars because I actually like my apartment, have even considered another unit, but everything else from management to community sucks. I hate to write reviews but this seems to be the only way to make everyone aware since the people in the actual office are of no help... First off, I had someone WHO WORKS here go in my apartment and steal a 3000.00 purse. (Different management from now, it’s changed a few times) There was no sign of forced entry and there is no way the locks can be picked because they are high security(I know because I was told by a locksmith when I locked myself out once).. nothing was done except they changed my locks for free since I filed a police report rightfully so. I have since purchased cameras for my own security.. Also , my car has been vandalized INSIDE THE GARAGE they have poor camera coverage so no clue who did it. I personally think we are paying too much to not have sufficient security, privacy, and protection. Thirdly, I recently had a package stolen out of our secured package room and management (current manager )refuses to give the actual footage of who took it but had footage of her directing the delivery driver to leave it in a specific area. SHADY.. Worth 400.00.. and lastly after raising concerns about this missing package my lock on my vehicle was tampered with and will now need to be replaced. I have documented all incidents and dates. It’s truly sad as I have been a resident close to 5 years.. No improvements for security and safety are made and the amenities could be better!!!! The tv in the game room doesn’t even work. Has not been good management since Miranda left as she used to also live here!!!
Since moving into this apartment I have experienced ongoing plumbing and water temperature issues that have still not been resolved after three months. After reading a previous review it appears management was already aware of these water temperature problems as far back as a year ago.
Communication from staff and management has been poor throughout this process. Maintenance has entered my apartment three times without proper notice, which is frustrating and unacceptable. I have told management multiple times about this issue but they continue to ignore it.
There are also issues with the building entry system. In an emergency I cannot access the building because the call box is outdated and will not accept my phone number.
Overall my experience since moving in has been extremely frustrating. Despite these ongoing problems management still expects rent to be paid on time. On top of that there has been dog waste left in the lobby on multiple occasions which adds to the lack of cleanliness and upkeep.

You offered me ONE option that realistically is not available. The apartment you mentioned would not even be available until April, and I was also told that you would not assist with the cost of moving, which is expensive. That does not resolve the situation I have been dealing with for the past three months.
There has also been very poor communication. Maintenance has been in and out of my apartment around seven or eight times, often without clear notice or explanation of what is being done or what the actual plan is to fix the issue.
At this point I need clear communication and a real solution. I have continued paying my rent on time, yet I still cannot consistently take a hot shower in my own apartment.
